Nice quick walk, even has a split in the middle in case you need to do an even shorter trail. And a couple benches in the middle for a break. Unpacked, but packed gravel path. Electric wheelchair would do okay, and a manual could probably be decently pushed. We are always looking for places we can take the dog to hike. Signs were a bit confusing, we couldn’t figure out where to enter the trail directly - cause the wildlife area you walk thru to get to the trail, had signs for no dogs.

Nice trail , short if you are a long distance runner , I had to go around twice to get 4 miles, but is a super nice place for a nice walk , the lake to the right of the parking is beautiful with lots of trees and benches to see the water and relax ! Well taken care of. I recommend

Tried this trail just this weekend but it was almost 100 degrees so we (me and my dog who has a thick coat) didn’t go too far, but I loved it and plan to go back to see the rest, I like nature photography and this is a great place for that.

In one idyllic evening, when slanting rays of Sun were shining the river, a deer crossed the river. It etched my memory. it's great pace to be.

OK. it's nice to see it being saved since power lines surround it. I saw cranes and other unique birds. there is an additional hidden waterway surrounded by cattails where the birds fly over.

Excellent spot for walking, essentially 2 one mile loops around decent sized lakes on one side and the DuPage River on the other. This is the back of the Morton Arboretum , the views and the vistas are very nice

Only negative here is that it's a small place. They have a wildlife hospital and rehabilitation center, mini zoo with all the animals that come in (from bald eagles to bobcats), visitor center, nature trail, you can 'adopt' the animals to help pay for their food/shelter and such, Even had a staff member outside with a great horned owl that had a messed up eye educating everyone them. Really a small little gem out there.

Small but cool little place. 2 loops, 1 around each lake. The lake to the north has MUCH more traffic. But many enjoy it. I love the south lake it's more enclosed in the woods and less traveled.

Biking, walking, running, fishing, dog walking, picnicing. Got just about everything in a small little area.
