It's a great trail I've used many times, but it can be quite busy and traffic noise is more noticeable than I like.

This probably could’ve been a great trail but due to recent rain fall it was extremely overgrown and washed out/ muddy. At one point we had to turn back because we lost the trail along the river and it seemed to be flooded. We went hiking back to the main path and realized it for sure was flooded and we would’ve been stuck. If you do this, make sure to stay on the marked trails for now. Maybe after the river goes down you can do this trail.

Such a beautiful park.

urban trail....packed with tourists but well lit for evening walk. Note distance is one way...great round trip.

A short trail with many flowers and of course, the giant bean. Enjoyed my experience.

Short trail, lovely viewings.

Beautiful trail today, not many people out. Six deer though, which was nice to see.

Lovely park. We saw 3 deer and countless butterflies. In the middle of the city. Who knew?

Flat, busy and narrow. Can feel like you are fighting for space. Great urban trail though. Nice plantings by the trail, and good access at numerous points. Drinking fountains every so often, too.

This is urban hiking - use the stairs and ramps on the Riverwalk to train for more traditional hiking. Dogs allowed, open until 10pm and lots of interesting sights on the river. Also, if you’re looking for lunch, a snack or dinner, there’s plenty of places to choose from along the street level.

Keeps getting better with new landscaping and additions. Good way to loop the city from the west to the east and back.

Fun trail for a bike ride. Can’t wait until it’s extended to the lake front.

Went in search of Chance the Snapper, but found a beautiful, historical Chicago park with amazing wildflowers, multiple recreational opportunities, and green space for everyone to enjoy. While the alligator is at large, some of the rentals aren't available and the east portion of the lagoon is closed to fishing, but the beach area, playground (with splash pad) and trails are open.

Great place for a stroll in Chinatown. Fishing is available and kayaks can be rented

Rough area

Peaceful walk/hike in the middle of northern Chicago...even has a lake for fishing

Perfect place to go if your a Cubs fan. The stadium is a baseball icon and the tour of the stadium is very informative.

Pretty walk through the city and down to the pier.
