Not much to see unless you like tall grass and power lines overhead but in good shape.

Varied trail ranging from flat on east side of lake to fairly steep, narrow trails on west side. Be watchful for mountain bikes on west side but rare.

These woods invite you in deeper & deeper. If you find the cemetery, look for the stone for a burial in 1836! Mind blowing

Intimate way to enjoy the woods, especially waking up with a sunrise

Not a bad trail system. An excellent trail to see scenery and get some exercise. There are enough trails here to keep you busy all day. Several facilities and bathrooms. I really enjoyed throwing on my backpack and spending a day here. I will be returning soon to explore some more.

Been on a lot of trails and you get everything from this one ;river spillway lake woods big hills level blacktop restrooms parking

For the area its in its not to bad a trek. Nothing extremely spectacular but a nice woodland walk offering many diff species of trees, with lots of rolling hills to challenge your level of fitness, diff scenic views, and for the most part not to busy which is what I like about winter hiking.

I think it is good. I take my family out there and they have fun but we all think it need some jumps

Fairly easy biking. No hills. Some soft spots on the road. Miles & miles of utility poles!

Has some maintenance that should probably be addressed but all was passable and we enjoyed the 5 mile hike with our 4 kiddos!

I agree with the other reviewer that the power lines were a huge turn off.

It was okay, but not worth the travel to get here.

A well maintained trail generally for beginners. Attempted the Nature's Corner loop but had to backtrack when trail was lost due to heavy leaves and low traffic due to a bridge being out. The trails are generally flat along ravines or ridges except for 3-4 steep descents and climbs between the two.

Very basic no frills rails to trails route in good condition but plagued with ugly overhead power lines.

Really enjoyed hiking here. The two areas where it said 'bridge out, proceed at your on risk' were the most fun. Not a hard trail but there are a few areas where trees were down. Just made it more fun.
They are currently doing some work to shore up ledges. Awesome work!

We have hiked this park several times and we always love it! It's maintained fairly well; we did encounter some blowdown and a bridge out, but we maneuvered through it all just fine. I probably wouldn't label the trails as "very difficult" but there are quite a few steps. It's a beautiful state park only an hour from us.
