A paved trail with beautiful canyon and waterfall views. Please be aware that the falls do not run all year (seasonal variations). The trail surface is paved asphalt and typically at least six feet wide. The grade is steep (over 8% in areas) so wheelchair and stroller users may need assistance.Show more

This fully-paved trail is popular for biking and walking and has fantastic views of Shoshone Falls. This full route is too steep to be considered wheelchair and stroller friendly but the section to the first observation deck is considered accessible and can be viewed on its own trail page here: https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/idaho/shoshone-falls-observation-deck-trailShow more

Starting at the southern trailhead, the trail heads north through the high desert before dipping into the lush pine/fir forests. The trail generally descends with one or two short and mild climbs. The trail has two small stream crossings which are generally where you'll find the climbs as well. After May, these streams are pretty easily jumped across. This trail offers wonderful views of Rock Creek Canyon from start to finish.Show more
