Husband and I lost the trail for a bit and added an extra half mile because we needed up on a 50 in/XC ski trail but it was still a great hike. Saw several ruffed grouse and meet some people on the trail who’d seen moose.

Fun easy trail with the kids. Awesome to see base jumpers jump off the bridge and see where they land.

Paved trail, but unbelievably gorgeous views, especially at sunrise and sunset. Flat and straightforward, but such a unique experience running alongside a canyon ridge so high up. Highly recommended if you are in the area and want an easy run/bike/walk with awesome views.

Great little walk along the river! Very quick and easy.

Asphalt trail that wraps around and through houses in some places. It’s a great trail, but is more for biking or for locals to enjoy an evening stroll.

Took my 4 year old behind the waterfall it's Beautiful!

Loved finding the waterfall, hanging out by the river, and watching people jump off the bridge. Turned around just as we reached the bridge, but we should have kept going. Looking forward to going back soon!

We walked about 2-3 miles to Shoshone Falls. Wide paved trail. There are a few small hills to tackle. We took some great pictures of the falls.

Being able to go behind the waterfall was awesome! It was a cool place to take pictures and not too hard to get to. You have 2 options on how to get to the waterfall, at the end of the decline where you can initially see the waterfall has a trail down to it, or you can go all the way down the road on climb up the hill to the waterfall! Very pretty and will come back soon!

The Mogensen Trail was very fun. It contained a lot of waterfalls and you would get to walk right by the water. The only part of the trail I would consider difficult for some people this one part of the trail. The part had very steep stairs that seemed that it would be difficult for some people.

Super fun, lots of extra spots to explore along the trail and brought a five year old along! She thought it was fun and moderately difficult.

Great hike. The start and finish is steep (medium level) but the rest of the hike is flat and follows the river. We’re here in April and there were 5 waterfalls!

Nice concrete trail with a beautiful view of the Snake River. I ran this trail several times when I stayed in Twin Falls in late May 2017. There were waterfalls, marmots, ground squirrels, and a variety of riparian birds along the trail as well. There is plenty of parking at the visitor's center. People were parasailing off of Perrine Bridge; it was neat to watch.

Good hike, pretty easy, not too steep. Very pretty scenery, transitioning from Aspen, to dense pine and then to the top of the hill which is covered in wildflowers (at least in mid June). Great views of the area from up top. Coming down was strange, we ran into a spot where the trail was absolutely riddled with giant fallen trees, not sure if they are thinning forest here but most of them looked to be uprooted and toppled. Could have traversed the maze of horizontal trees but instead found alternative route that connected back to the loop. Overall fun hike!

Not sure if we really hiked this trail or a nearby one along the river. Nice views of the bridge. Very narrow trail flanked by lots of waist- to shoulder-height vegetation. Smelled amazing but my friend had an allergic reaction to something we brushed up against, so if you're prone to that sort of thing wear long sleeves.

Nice waterfall with patches of icey snow (early march). Short hike up has excellent view of gorge area. Not that hard or long.

Not really a trail, but still a beautiful waterfall. Especially since it is right off the interstate.

I'm not sure I would call this a trail, but it is a trek on the grade. A narrow road that is heavily travelled. People biking, walking, or driving all need to be mindful of each other and give plenty of space.

An awesome hike for beginners or folks with small children. Our 7 year old has no problem completing this hike, and our 18 month old can even do some of it out of his pack. You can see many birds, and signs of moose and deer. About halfway through, there is a nice fire pit with some benches around it - a great place to stop for a picnic! We have done this hike a few times now, to train for some of the harder hikes in the area. There is a point where you intersect with a dirt road of sorts... stay straight to stay on the trail. If you turn right, it is a shorter, steeper way back down, and you will intersect with this trail again to finish the loop.

Great afternoon hike. At first it is a little noisy from all the off road vehicles that ride in the area but after a half mile the noise disappears. I think I will also post the pictures on google earth so other can see the beauty off this short hike. Nice mountain drive to get there from Rock Creek.

Nice trail in the Rock Creek Area just south of Hansen, quite a 4wd drive to get there from Hollister. The trail starts out in the sothern campsite in Petit campground and parallels the road for the first 3/8 of a mile as it crosses a few unnamed streams, bridges are present but unneeded when we went, then it circles west thru some large lava boulders giving some interesting views of Pike mountain, Kum Ba Yah Camp and Tawakani camp for about a 1/4 mile before looping north thru an established forest with the sound of owls hooting as we were late evening didnt see much wildlife but could hear them starting up with their nightly routines, the trail continues north with a westernly swing thru an established forest not giving many views but relaxing solitude as no one else was on the trail even though Petit Campground was full. A few trails are close and could be built into a overnighter with the Pike Mtn Trail (FT7239) or the Bald Hill/ Faen Spring Trail (FT7137). Overall a very easy hike to do with children or just to settle down a dutch oven dinner. I only gave it a three star rating as it only had limited views and no real destination but was excellent to break in a new pair of boots.
