Great biking trail, very well kept and it’s all along the river so you can pull off to swim. Perfect summer spot to ride

Nice walking trail in town, good views and the historical markers were informational and interesting.

Keep in mind, this isn’t a hike, but a walk. A very nice walk though. It can be broken down into segments as short as 1 mile which makes it nice.

The lake is gorgeous, but the trail is too close to the road for my taste, the formal trail ends at places and then you’re just riding on the road shoulder: yikes. Not one single person warned when passing. I do feel pretty good making it up that hill without stopping though lol! I will find other trails next time.

I started at the Plummer trailhead. Trail is nice- mostly flat, well-paved, and gorgeous ride through a forest and then around Lake Chacolet.

I parked my vehicle and biked this loop. The uphill was a little tough as it was my first ride this year but there was plenty of downhill to make up for it! Overall it was fun and I’d do it again. The ‘bike path’ is actually the road but there is plenty of room for cars to get around so you don’t hold up traffic. I was able to stop whenever and take some nice pics! It was hot with no shade so I suggest bring plenty of water!

Switchback section from Shoshone Falls Park to the rim trail (and back to visitor center) should be described as 'hard'. Unless you're in great shape you'll be walking your bike up this section...otherwise this is a well-maintained, interesting paved pathway.

Scenic, but not much different than any other greenbelt trail around Boise or Eagle.

The east portion, especially from Eastland on, is a fantastic trail, easy, great for family with great photo opportunities and well-placed benches and viewpoints.

Great city walk. Very popular for bikes, scooters, etc. great for kids. You can go as far and long as you want.

We loved this trail!! Beautiful greenery, lots of wild flowers, and many views of the river. Even passed by some cows. We really enjoyed it. Slight uphill from Julietta to Kendrick, but the way back was a breeze!! (Can't comment on the shade because it was overcast)

Edit: 28 miles completed total (forgot to hit record after pausing for 7 miles )

A looonng walk along the river makes Costsco runs, errands in Lewiston, and school-age basketball tournaments so much nicer :). I prefer walking from the parking lot just below costco to avoid traffic noise.

It’s an ok trail. Not super scenic but here and there. Some sketchy areas and a lot is walking on the road. Did not really enjoy it with the kids.

This is a well paved walking/biking trail with easy access to Riverstone, the Kroc Center, and Ramsey Park. It does cross/merge with the Centennial Trail which runs East and West just north of Riverstone.

checked this out the beginning of June 2018. very pretty place. well maintained. im not from the area so it was a neat walking trail.

It was such a nice trail with beautiful flowing water and breeze! We enjoyed the disc golf course on trail too! It was nice to enjoy an unplanned picnic on trail thanks to Enrique’s Mexican Restaurant being right off path! A perfect Mother’s Day afternoon.

All you really need to know is this is a nice trail you can take your kids and grandma on. If you want a more detailed overview keep reading. This trail is paved so I was able to push my stroller the entire way. I also saw littles on scooters. There are a lot of runners, bikers and long boarders that use the trail. It’s very popular. There are geese and ducks along the whole trail. Currently it is the beginning of May and they all have their little goslings with them. We saw a group of 21 goslings! They are so fun to see but their poop is eeeeevvverywhere. So PSA don’t walk in the grass haha. This is a dog friendly trail. On the east side there are a lot of doggie bag stations. There are bathrooms on both sides and working water fountains. There are fun, artistic benches around the trail that my kids loved along with picnic tables. There are also informational and memorial plaques along the way. We enjoyed looking at the Veteran’s Memorial. The trail takes you right past the Idaho Falls Temple and partially through historic downtown district. There are also plenty of places to eat at the south end. I’d say the only complaint I had was that the bridge at the North end is right next to a highway so we got sprayed with dirt when a semi drove past.

It's a great hike, and has a great view after about 45 minutes of walking. It's not too far away from town, but it also is quite narrow, with lots of bikers. But the scenery is awesome.

Nice hike. Not too busy this Monday morning with intermittent bikers on the trail. It's well marked with beautiful wild flowers and a great view of the city.

Actually a nice, relaxing ride. Parked at the ball fields in Juliaetta and rode to Kendrick for an early dinner and rode back.
