Great little hike with beautiful views and easy enough to take kids of almost any age, my 3 year old made it pretty easy...

pretty easy hike, beautiful view my kid love it

5 stars = the best thing ever 4 Stars = actively plan for it 3 Stars = pretty good, fine going 2 Stars = meh 1 Star = would never go again good hike if you live close but not worth driving to. trail is flat mostly and easy going, be ready for bikers really pretty drive to it and I'm happy with the hike but wouldn't do it again There are no springs by the way

Pretty trail. No mud. A few people mountain biking on it and that’s it. There is no shade though, so best to wear a hat. Pretty easy, would not rate it moderate. There is no spring.

The directions listed above are to Ririe, not the trail. Use coordinates 43.63822, -111.63822 to find the trail Nothing really all that spectacular about this hike. I would even hesitate to call it a trail. It’s an old service road for the ski lifts that they scrape every year. Watch out for mountain bikers as they come down the trail. The views at the top are kind of nice I have to admit.

Lovely hike with a nice incline! Stopped about halfway for a snack and the birdsong was breathtaking! Trail was well maintained and easy to follow, saw several wildflowers and moose tracks!

This is such a pleasant little hike, and the first time I've done it without kids in tow. There is an additional trail that takes you further up the mountain, and a few side trails to explore. Cress Creek is definitely worth a look. It was busy, but not distractingly so.

Great trail, the way up is hard and steep, but it is an intermediate, definitely not for beginners like me, had to take many breaks and push the bike for a while... but... the way down was amazing! Totally worth the harder climb up!

It was an ATV trail most of the way with lots of puddles / mud. The trees and plants are gorgeous! It was a very pretty hike, and not strenuous at all!

Very muddy, lots of moose prints! Gorgeous views.

Great trial. There is also a trail down by the river. You cross the road and go down the stairs and across the bridge. Beautiful hike. 40min up and 40min back down. Mostly paved

Pretty easy trail. There isn’t a lot of shade but there are plenty of spots along most of the trail of you needed a spot out of the sun to take a break. It was busy but not as crazy as cress creek.

Decent elevation gain for the first half. Great views. Make sure you bring plenty of water as there is not a lot of shade. Pretty heavy traffic.

Stinking Spring trailhead is on a dirt road turn off before Kelly Canyon ski resort. The area is used for ATV/OHV and mountain biking, but a good place to hike off season. From the base are machine tracked sagebrush switchbacks ideal for mountain biking. Then you reach #4 intersection before submitting. The top was muddy which turned to patches of snow to snow. Yack Tracks would be advisable if one is unfamiliar with hiking in snow. The pack at the top was hard and able to be walked on without sinking. The summit was full of Aspens and Alpine. Great Views of the Snake River plane along the ridge. The descent lead to a alternate loop through the Stinking Spring Canyon. Would recommend bringing extra water and snacks. Definitely a solid hike to do in the spring before the big stuff melts out.

Cress Creek nature walk provides sunset views of the snake river. Mostly paved, but gives access to dirt trails. Heavily trafficked making it challenging to social distance. Informational signs are informative, making it a great place to take the kids.

I rode up with my dirtbike. It is a little steep for biking.
