So. Many. Cow pies. Despite that there are quite a few beautiful vistas on this loop. There were a lot of climbers and hikers yesterday but my husband and I didn’t come across any other person when we did this loop. It felt like more than 6 miles. I think if we hiked this loop again we would go clockwise. Going counterclockwise on this loop made for a pretty intense hike for the last half. I think the best time to do this hike would either be in early spring or late fall as most of the trail has little shade. We were burning up even though it was mid 70s, overcast, and breezy.

We did this one right after Bath Rock. Moderate is a good rating for this one. the section right before what is called the stairs is a little sketchy and hard to keep on the right track, but after backtracking a little, found the right way. The trail is maintained well and you will defiantly see rock climbers all over. Overall the entire area is awesome to visit!

Nice easy and quick hike. Great for kids. Just a walk really around Bath Rock, and check out the many rock climbers. the back side is impressive and way cooler.

Nice trail at the beginning and end with great viewpoints of rocks and climbers but the middle of the trail is through cow pasture.

Great hike. Enjoyed it very much. Lots of people climbing and they were fun to watch. Very well maintained. Restroom at trailhead.

Nice short easy walk around a big rock. Nicely maintained trail with lots of opportunities to watch rock climbers going up and down the “Bath Rock”. Path has log steps in parts of the trail and log barriers surrounding parts of the vegetation with signs that say to keep dogs on leashes and out of the vegetation areas. Would be a great little walk for very young children. There was a lot of deer tracks in the soft trail dirt.

Really enjoyed hiking this loop. Great scenery and pretty neat watching the climbers. Only 3 other hikers on a nice April morning, but it did get busy in the parking lot as more people rolled in. Just get there early, or camp nearby as we did. Brought the dogs, they enjoyed it too, despite prickly pears.

Seemingly easy loop with some occasion to watch your footing per loose rock and slick, spring dampened spots. The topography and geology is stunning. The scrub- high-desert biome is decorated with beautiful rock formations and panoramic views. The trail winds from elevated points through a scrub-wooded bottom that offers new perspectives on the towering rocks, in a peaceful and cool glen. This Reserve is a gem and I look forward to returning for more hikes!

Flat, easy trail but pretty boring when compared to some of the other incredible trails nearby. I won't go back but glad I did it once.

Since moving here, this has become a regular trail. Very easy way to get 4 flat miles into our daily routine on this very level, easy trail. Careful as sometimes during the year- especially late summer and fall- there are moose on this trail quite frequently. Great spot to see ant mounds (please don't destroy them- this is the refuge and everything here is protected!) and teach your kids about them and their colonies. Birds are everywhere, though you may need to stop to hear over the crunching of leaves and gravel! It is NOT dog friendly as some people have said the signs very clearly state this. I have requested for the dog friendly tag to be removed from this. Enjoy!

If you're looking for incredible scenery well off the beaten path, great place to hike etc. Drove up from salt lake for the day.
went April 1st- the upper trails were still covered with deep snow drifts but the lower trails were all clear.
Few rock climbers we stopped and watched, apparently busier during the warmer months.
Passed cars and hikers on the roads, but plenty of trails you can put together: never saw another soul once we got out on the trails.

This is a great trail for running! We would run it all the time for XC practice. there is not very much elevation and high chances of running into wildlife. It over looks deep creek for a portion of the trail. There is not alot of great sights but still worth the time to explore.

We didn't hike far to the climb. The climb was superb as a beginner. Camping is outstanding as is watching all of the climbers!
