Great hike for an active family. Our 6 year old loved it.

8/16/18- Easy hike up and run down, put in 8.45 miles going to both lower and upper Blossom Lakes. Trail to upper is a little overgrown in areas but not bad. Upper lake is a little more marshy then Lower, both have great campsites. Will be back for overnighting and to hit Pear Lake as well.

Beautiful trail
Lake is great for swimming or fishing for small brook trout

Really fun family hike! the path can get a bit narrow, so challenging with a jogging stroller. There are two beautiful waterfalls to admire.

Beautiful easy trail to hike. The map on All Trails leads you shy of the trailhead by about a mile. Once you hit the lake the trail continues around the lake, however it is not well maintained at this point.

This hike offers a variety of gorgeous lake scenery at the finish and a few stunning views of the surrounding mountains along the way. One of my favorite day hikes in the area.

Great hike with uphill the first 2 miles. There was some snow on the shoreline and above, but sun was nice and warm. Caught and released a bunch on cutthroats fly fishing.

I only clocked 2 miles so perhaps I missed something. Beware of the wasp nest, the stinging nettle and SO MANY BUGS. Otherwise pretty trail. The creek was great for the pup and the water is ICE COLD. Nothing too spectacular to note though. Would be a great trail for kiddos!

Great short hike. Took my 10 yr old on his first backpack trip and we had a blast. Mid July was pretty buggy but the wind helped keep the bugs down some. Pretty busy trail. Worth the short hike up to Upper Blossom and Pear lake.

Hiked into this lake today, 7/19. Beautiful,’pristine lake. Bugs not too bad

After having made the hike on June 12th and walking on a lot of snow, I was surprised yesterday when we hiked in to the lake and encountered no snow anywhere. The lake level was down about a foot from the month before.

Nice maintained trail. Too much snow to make it to pear lake but I will be back.

My favorite trail so far. Absolutely beautiful, serene and peaceful. Even the burned trees added to the magic.

beautiful hike, backed on July 7-8. beautiful lake. a little windy but it was great. also, bring your fishing poles ;)

The trail to the lower lake is clear of debris and snow. Blow downs block the hike to the upper lake. Total distance to the lower lake and back is 6.75 miles and 1,077 elevation gain. The lake is beautiful.

Awesome area for an overnight or multi-night backpacking trip. The hike in was fairly easy with a few steep spots. GPS clocked it at 3 miles to the lower lake.

We stayed the night on the lower lake where there are multiple campsites right next to the lake.

We also hiked up to the upper lake and there were multiple campsites there as well.

Hiked in 26 June 2018... left the TH at 645pm, back to the car at 910pm with 4 kids 8-16.... Strava GPS tracker has us at 6 miles rndtrip to the lower lake outflow log jam. It is a beautiful hike, leg burner for sure if pushing. Can’t wait to go back with more daylight and explore and photograph the outflow waterfalls!

Great little hike. Very little snow and the path is well marked. The lake is a bit high making the loop trail hard to follow.

One of the prettiest trails I’ve ever been on

The road leading to the parking area is passable but full of potholes. The up and back trail is well distinguished. It’s about 3 miles in total distance and less than 500 feet in elevation hail. The trees reminded us of Redwood National Park.

We enjoyed the hike. The trail is in good shape and the bridges are as well. I would recommend it for young families and all ages. It was sad to see all the damage done by the fire.

awesome short easy hike. nice slow incline to the lake. 3 campspots. only a little snow left on trail. beautifully little lake.

This was a beautiful hike. Perfect with kids or people with lower stamina. Not one challenging part. Took our 2, 5 and 7 year olds and they loved it. Trail has a few muddy sections and a mild rock hop creek crossing. Parking lot is large and has a vault toilet. The road in had a few sections washed out, but was fully passable by a full sized rig.
Don't miss the hidden box in the end of the log that marks the trail's end.

Beware of trail conditions!!!! The hike is very pretty with all the snow and the lake was mostly frozen/covered but please don’t risk getting hurt out there. Ultimately, I wouldn’t recommend this hike until the snow melts thoroughly-probably July?

You will not be able to follow the marked trail with the snow. I hiked this with a friend on May 15 after initially planning to do Blossoms lakes bc Revett is rated as easy (it was very hard in snow-we were both sore the next day). We didn’t realize we hadn’t gotten to the trailhead until a mile in when we found the signs (buried in snow) from the snowed in parking lot. The hike is super snowy with 3-5+ ft of snow along the trail and there are a lot of very slick areas. You could easily miss your footing and slide off the cliff edge. There is also a ton of running water under the snow pack so be careful or you will slip through. Even areas without streams we fell through a few ft of snow at a time. The conditions are likely worse right now with slush and more risk of sliding off the cliff/through deep holes.
