Turnoff is a little hard to find. We had to go past where maps told us to go. Very easy hike! We took a group of 5 kids. The hike is roughly 3 miles round trip unless you go around the lake which is very steep and tough. The view is incredible.

Wonderful stroll through some great trees. Excellent for young hikers.

beautiful old cedar trees, I wish there was more info on ages and history, pretty far out on dirt road to get to hike. very easy for the kids, all in all pleasant hike

Fabulous day of hiking. lots of terrain variations. easy enough.

It was an easy trail and well maintained. Beautiful and peaceful. We were met by a bear when we got back to our car so make sure to bring your bear spray! The road going in made me nervous if another car were to come along but we made it in and out just fine and were the only ones there.

Good hike. Great views. I agree with the previous reviews - it is not worth it to hike around the lake. I reached the lake quicker than I anticipated... It’s a little less than 2 miles to get up to the lake.

Great trail for families and people with mobility issues or who struggle with elevation climbs. Very easy and well maintained out and back trail, with some neat sites too!

Beautiful hike. Very well maintained trail. Had a little FuzzNgrub at the lakeshore. Definitely going back!

Hiked this trail with a friend on August 29th. The main trail to the lake was fantastic; beautiful and green. There was a little bit of water flow on the waterfall. We attempted to hike around the lake (starting out on the left hand side, couldn't find the path on the right side), but there is not much of a trail. We were climbing over trees and trying to stay away from the steep hillside. When we got halfway around the lake we asked a couple fishing if there was a better trail and they said that it would be best to turn around and go back the way we came. Pretty sure there was a cougar in one of the bushes on our way back, didn't see one but heard a low guttural growling. Not sure how long it had been tracking us, but sounded an air horn and it must of scared it off. Didn't have any problems. Aside from the trail not being great around the lake, the experience was great and the lake was very beautiful. Would go again.

Fast, short jaunt with spectacular waterfalls to view.

this hike is beautiful. this hike is not easy if you're out of shape.

This is definitely an easy hike not moderate. It’s flat and easily passable. We did it with our little kids and I’m pregnant. Beautiful huge trees and fun things to look at and explore.

Hiked to the Blossom Lakes 8/31/18 and it was awesome! My father in law is preparing to go hike the Appalachian Trail and wanted to go out and test his gear. We planned to stay at the lower lake, but when we got there, there were two groups of people already at the main spots when the trail hits the lake. We saw another spot on the far end of the lake that we headed to via the upper lake trail to try to find a way down. We didn’t find a trail down, but ended up at the upper lake. There was a really nice camping area with fire pits, tables, toilet seat, and a string to hang food. Highly recommend. We went up on a Friday and only saw a few people hiking out and those that were already there setup. The upper lake was empty..... until 1230 at night when we woke up to loud banging and metal pounding for the far end of the lake. Someone must have hiked up in the dark. Seems weird, but they settled down after a while. We did encounter a large female moose on the upper lake trail who grunted at us as she moved far enough away for us to pass. We came down on a Saturday. Trail was full of day hikers headed up. We left just in time. Took 1hr 45min to hike up. 1hr 25min down. Lots of fish in the upper lake. I had a lot of bites from little ones. Next time I think I’ll bring different gear to get further out where the bigger fish were jumping.

Was an amazing hike up except for the two doberman pinschers (not on leashes) that charged at us. Please keep your dogs on leashes there's not much room to move on the trail. Amazing adventure anyway. FYI, it is an easy trail to the lake but gets a bit tricky if you do the loop around the lake because of all the downed trees so beware.

Great hike for an active family. Our 6 year old loved it.

8/16/18- Easy hike up and run down, put in 8.45 miles going to both lower and upper Blossom Lakes. Trail to upper is a little overgrown in areas but not bad. Upper lake is a little more marshy then Lower, both have great campsites. Will be back for overnighting and to hit Pear Lake as well.

Really fun family hike! the path can get a bit narrow, so challenging with a jogging stroller. There are two beautiful waterfalls to admire.

Beautiful easy trail to hike. The map on All Trails leads you shy of the trailhead by about a mile. Once you hit the lake the trail continues around the lake, however it is not well maintained at this point.

This hike offers a variety of gorgeous lake scenery at the finish and a few stunning views of the surrounding mountains along the way. One of my favorite day hikes in the area.

Great hike with uphill the first 2 miles. There was some snow on the shoreline and above, but sun was nice and warm. Caught and released a bunch on cutthroats fly fishing.

I only clocked 2 miles so perhaps I missed something. Beware of the wasp nest, the stinging nettle and SO MANY BUGS. Otherwise pretty trail. The creek was great for the pup and the water is ICE COLD. Nothing too spectacular to note though. Would be a great trail for kiddos!

Great short hike. Took my 10 yr old on his first backpack trip and we had a blast. Mid July was pretty buggy but the wind helped keep the bugs down some. Pretty busy trail. Worth the short hike up to Upper Blossom and Pear lake.

Hiked into this lake today, 7/19. Beautiful,’pristine lake. Bugs not too bad

Snow has mostly melted off on the trail to Pear Lake. Just patches of it on the trail. The lake is beautiful and we could see fish swimming in it.
