Pretty awesome little drive up with a slight walk on a pathway. Easy peasy, no effort... but what a view!! Great to stretch the legs and there’s a beautiful park to let the dogs run, family picnic, etc.

Unexpectedly beautiful scenery, lots of places to swim, paved trail to Spokane River, several other dirt trails.Loved it!

This was a beautiful loop, even in the middle of the summer. The creeks were dried up but still plenty to see. He cautious of the multitudes of bikes on the trail. But those we encountered were very friendly. There are a bunch of forks in the trail that give a lot of options, Bob's Trail was our favorite part of the loop, I recommend leaving this trail for the end of the hike for the surprise of beauty!

Very fun. New sights around every corner. Great semi-private beaches to take a dip at. Love this hike.

Very pleasant morning stroll. Also in a calm safe area. No overnight camping at the trailhead however spacious.

Great trail! Not at all intimidating for beginning bikers. Some areas can be confusing as this trail becomes part of the larger Boise green belt trail system but can be navigated using map plaques along the trail. This was my first trail as a new mountain biker and I really enjoyed it!

Steep run and a well kept trail. The view in fantastic.

Beautiful trail. Busy after 9:00 in the morning. Well maintained trail. Would be a nice stroll around the island for walking as well.

Went with a good friend today. It's weird I've never done the whole loop before. Lots of people, but great up and down with some climbs. Really fun.

Great easy trail for all ages! Usually pretty crowded during the day but still a great mellow hike with amazing views of Lake CDA.

Busy trail with lots of dogs on leashes. It was steep so might be a workout. Beautiful view from the top made it worthwhile. Consider a stop at the old Idaho State Pen while there. It’s at the bottom of the trailhead and very interesting.

great trail for beginners.

OK hike. Lots of people, decent view from the top and facilities available at trailhead. Cigarette butts, on trail and at peak, and graffiti detract from the experience. If you're more of a solitude seeker there are other trails nearby that may suit your tastes better but this is worth the trip if you have never done it.

Very fun and simple!

We started hiking the trail clockwise and the path was very hard to follow due to a lot of people walking through the area and making their own paths. Ended up going down one of these paths and skipping a large section of the intended trail which made the hiking more interesting, but also much more difficult. Not the best hike to do in the middle of summer as it was very hot and there is little to no shade. The best part of the hike was getting done and being able to swim in the lake, which was surprisingly but pleasantly cold.

Very nice trail not to close to the city. Although I would say it’s more for biking it was still a great trail if you’re looking for something not difficult but a little challenge.

Nice cool trail

Great trail for walking the dog!

I would not call this trail easy....I would call it fun!! Lots of rocks, roots and rocky ledges to traverse. Beautiful scenery and beaches. We even saw a family jumping off a ledge into the lake!

This is all sidewalk and a beautiful walk. Very busy.

A great gem for the city of Post Falls... beautiful place to get away.

Dogs are not allowed in this park (period).
