It was a good chill hike. Was a bit longer hike cause big Smokey creek was rushing so the lower trail was cut off by the creek water was to high to cross. So we had to take the higher tail which made for a good hike.. if you like hot springs give it a try you won’t be disappointed..

This is a very fun outing for the family! The hot springs at the end of the trail are worth every step. The trail is very narrow, and it has some steep drop-off areas, be careful with smaller children. The hike itself is easy, and i recommend staying overnight! The small stream near the campsite is perfect for keeping things cool in the summer months.

No trail to be mentioned as the parking lot is only 20 yards from the hot springs, but the upper hot pools (dont recommend soaking in them 170+) is about a quarter mile walk up a small hill. Has a small vault toilet and a small campground further down the creek and across the road. Very hot water which is mixed with Worswick Creek which is very cold water in the lower "tubs". Losts of algae and the tubs keep getting "improved" but with a little effort a nice mix can be made and a very enjoyable soak can be had. No high concentrations of sulphur but can smell it occasionally. Not many people in the campground and most of them were playing in little smokey creek where the hot creeks dumps in, but found some idiot had camped right next to the pools the next morning so didnt get a morning soak which would have been good as it was lightly raining. The closest town is Fairfield about 18 miles away and the other end of the road winds up in Ketchum down warm springs road about 20 miles away.
