Great hike. My gps says it’s closer to 7 mi. round trip. Always beautiful.

Ok trail. I thought ATVs were not allowed on this trail. Clearly they have ripped it up. Same issue with others dogs off leashes and poop. Has a couple nice scenic views and is a nice little work out.

Table Rock Trail is my go-to for friend & family hiking. I have a 10-year old & a 4-year old. As an adult, the later-part of this trail gets intense (slightly steeper incline). Still fine for the kids but they'll be trekking slower, & you can feel it in your thighs, butt, & lungs! At the top, enjoy an incredible view, a bench to rest on, lots of selfies, & drink fluids!!! Then the trip down is enjoyable & fairly easy, just be careful you take it slow (especially kiddos) or you might slip on the dirt & fall on your butt. Happy Trailing!

One of our absolute favorite hikes!! It’s long, but not a hard hike with lots of beautiful views!

We only met 2 other hikers on the trail. Perfect for my 4yo and 2yo. Nice spot about the halfway point we stopped for a picnic. My 2yo rode her strider bike most of the trail. The last quarter mile they were ready to be done. But that is my idea of a successful hike.

It would definitely consider this a moderate trail due to the elevation gain. The mine building is incredible.

Easy enough trail for young riders, shady too!

had a great day with my family not to hard of a trial.. just the climbing up the mountain sucks but the view makes it all worth it

This is a stellar hike. You will share the trail with others but pay no mind. You will love the view and never forget it. The only thing I will add is that Alltrails has a very poor mileage system, this trail being an example. The mileage points are arbitrary so be aware. The hike from trailhead to Alice lake is actually just over 6 miles. You can see this looking closely at the mapping but just a heads up. The view from Alice lake includes a very foreboding El Capitan, reminiscent of the Wind Rivers, and a ridgeline that resembles the ranges namesake, Sawtooth. The place is magical. Don't start late like we did, as we ended up with about 40 minutes at the lake. We got back to the car at dark.

Very little scenery or even trees. Tough climb. Just did it for the exercise. Views just OK at the top. Overall, boring.

Always on my list when visiting Coeur d'Alene. Well maintained trail and beautiful scenery.

This trail should actually be called "Maude and Lottie Lakes and Seven Lakes Trail Loop", because it doesn't actually follow the Seven Lakes trail all the way around, and the signs on the trees reflect this.

I decided to hike this as a day trip starting from Stanley Hot Springs, because I was already there and the AllTrails map cuts through the hot springs. For some odd reason, the map starts from the middle of the Stanley Hot Springs trail (not the trailhead), so the distance measurements and elevation gain are inaccurate.

I started recording my trip on the AllTrails app at the location where the trail forks off into the loop. What I thought would be a short day-trip ended up turning into a 7-hour trek across 10 miles and a miserable 4200 foot elevation change. I barely made it back to the campsite before sunset, but not before I was soaking wet from rain-soaked overgrown foliage that covered this poorly maintained trail.

While the views were pretty nice at the higher elevation areas, there are some major problems with this trail that prevent me from ever recommending this trail to anyone. Firstly, there are no switchbacks. You're just going straight up and down sheer mountainsides perpendicular to the topographical lines. This is abhorrent. Second, the trail is completely overgrown with foliage when following the Seven Lakes side of the loop, and it's very easy to lose the trail. The overgrowth is also sure to make your clothes and shoes soaked if it has rained recently. I spent about 1.5 - 2 hours trudging through dense overgrowth. Someone really needs to go in with a machete and clean the place up.

Was it worth it? No. But I did see a pine marten, I guess.

my husband and I went a few years ago and loved it! it is such a beautiful place. However, I remember the road being horrible. is it bad right now? I would like to take my minivan if I can, instead of my truck.

We picked this trail because it was easy and quick. I will say that this trail is very pretty and the lake has a giant plastic bear proof trunk. Plenty of areas to pitch a tent. My only complaint was that the trail was very narrow at times with bushes taller then me and the trail got flooded on our way out. Not sure if there is a way to prevent that though. I would suggest if you are camping with a forecast of rain to bring some rain boots.

Just attempted to hike this trail with my girlfriend. It was beautiful, the weather was perfect, and the hills were great to look at with a nice calm breeze rustling all the tall grass creating flowing waves across the hillside.

HOWEVER, we ran across a rattlesnake in the middle of the trail about 1&3/4 miles in. It was a close encounter as it caught my attention last second by hissing at me and rattling its tail violently. The snake was probably only 3-4 feet away and had already coiled up and was ready to strike with it's mouth wide open. I shrieked like a little girl and ran in the opposite direction as fast as I could. My girlfriend handled the situation much better than I did sadly..
This was not the only snake we saw on the trail, as we were heading down we saw two black snakes slithering off the trail on separate occasions.

Not a difficult hike at all and the trail is smooth, sandy at times, and clear of rocks. There were a lot of mormon crickets like others have mentioned. Would recommend wearing pants because of brush and possible snake bites.

Nice trail to a large dramatic falls! Fast downhill hike to the creek and a fun scramble down the rocks to the base of the falls. We met some people who hiked up to the falls from the other direction, a campground off of 55 I believe. I have not tried the hike in that direction.

If you camp, it’s $5 and the fee station is right next to the outhouses (insanely clean in there). Personally I’m not the most fit person as I spent the past month and a half in California (~500 ft in elevation) but it took me about 10 hours to do it. The ascent starts out moderate then gets steeper till the tree line. From there it’s pretty easy going even through Chicken Out Ridge. The last bit is a bit intense but no one was on their hands and feet so it’s not that steep. The trail can be a little hard to find sometimes so I’d just look up once in a while and make sure you’re actually on a trail and not just rock hopping.

Chicken out ridge is not that scary. Just be careful and take your time. It can get a bit intense when the wind is blowing really hard but again just take it slow.

Husband and I lost the trail for a bit and added an extra half mile because we needed up on a 50 in/XC ski trail but it was still a great hike. Saw several ruffed grouse and meet some people on the trail who’d seen moose.

Amazing scenery, when you get to the top, easy to follow and it is perfect this time of year..

Great hike. Lots of terrain change and scenery was unbelievably colorful. Reg. Repeat

Beautiful hike w the fall colors- lots of changing terrain keeps it interesting. Ate lunch at small sandy beach looking out over the lake. Loved this hike will definitely do it again.

Nice hike in the fall, with colors. Fairly steady uphill, with a good portion on dirt road shared by road vehicles. Trailhead was a little difficult to find, but it is marked by a sign about 40 yards to the right of a concrete bathroom being installed. Google maps got me to the right place, and All Trails was useful in locating the actual trailhead. My only regret was finding no mention in online descriptions of the road condition to reach the trailhead - fine for Jeeps, trucks, and sport utilities, but not so good for a low clearance road vehicle.
