Amazing views!

Short walk to the first beautiful view. Lots of rocks to traverse down to the first blowhole and we kept going to the next one. Fairly easy overall. It was almost Mars-like between the two blowholes, really cool terrain. I’d definitely do it again if I was in the area.

This is a quick little jaunt to a cool view. We were there April 2018 and there were quite a few folks of all ages. You can walk half way, three quarters or all the way next to the blow hole. I was surprised that many of the folks that went all the way down were in flip flops. We had hiking boots which made it easy. We mostly enjoyed the walk back up because we felt like we got some exercise. It was fun but not difficult but worth the excursion. Enjoy!

This is a great walk!

It was a nice short wall for the kids. Thai would not qualify as a hike for my 5 and 6 year old.

Beautiful! Easy hike. Make sure you go counter clockwise.

So great!

Aka Dragons Teeth. Easy hike from Kapalua or D.T. Fleming Beach. Great views and awesome sea spray in the craggy shoreline.

Very busy trail, but worth the hassle of so many people. Make sure to check tide charts and go around high tide (+/- 2 hours or so) for best effect. As others have mentioned, I suggest hiking shoes or sturdy sandals, not flip flops.

How could it be anything’s my but 5 stars when you’re running in Maui? Beautiful views and happy faces.

We enjoyed it! Easy and beautiful vantage points.

This hike is super busy and less than a mile but certainly worth doing. I would suggest shoes instead of flip flops as I saw lots of people triping and falling in flip flops. The blow hole is cool and to the right is the heart rock. Great photo ops.

Easy walking trail, as others mentioned better to do early in the morning.

Shoes are better than flip flops for this hike, which is more like a steep downhill rock hop to the blow hole and steep climb back up. It’s fun down at the hole, though slippery. Never turn your back on the ocean.

A gentle, serene hike with very slight elevation change. Good for littles. Definitely walk it counter clockwise for best experience. Dirt/grass trail is nice for walking. Whales, Hawaii native plants, dramatic coast views. Take water and also stop at one of the snack trucks for a shaved ice on your way back! You may not get cellular service so cue up before you leave. The trailhead is marked but you need to watch for it.

Incredibly beautiful nature walk. So quiet and serene we could hear the whales breathe in the waters below. Next time we will pack a picnic and take more time to enjoy the views.

Very cool! Stunning views. Recommend shoes and not flip flops to hike down the sharp lava rocks.

Super short and cool lava hole.

Super easy and short - great advise from Kris K - counter clockwise is the best way to go

This was a great hike that me and my son both enjoy. The view all around was great.

Not a bad trail . Beautiful views from the rocks !

If you venture out beyond the trail just a couple of hundred yards to the cliffs and ocean below, it's fantastic. I saw two huge sea turtles, a crevice-like blow hole and it's a great spot to say 'I'm in Hawaii!' And it's safe. I'm no mountain goat. Maybe just an old goat. :)

I really wanted to love this hike because the ocean views are incredible, but the trail is overgrown with 3-4ft tall grasses which meant the adults carried the kids and we frequently lost the trail. There’s evidence of environmentally irresponsible human toileting practices throughout the trail. This hike was worth it for the gorgeous panoramic ocean views. Probably would not do again since there are so many great hiking options nearby that don’t involve breaking trail.

Nice walk

I walked this trail from the south end. It actually continues farther south than the map indicates - to a total of about 3.5 miles one way, 7 miles round trip. I walked to the northern end and then a little farther through the village where I had a nice dinner at Fish Market Maui, then walked back. It took me about 2.5 hours, including half an hour for dinner. The trail is paved, well marked and completely flat. It gets a bit confusing at times where it goes through resorts and intersects with other walkways. I had to reference the map a couple of times. Overall very pleasant and I feel like I have earned my dinner.

Loved the views!!!!
