Not really a hike but it is steep and huge roots and ruts on the trail. Beautiful beach not too crowded but it’s getting more traffic of late, boo! Very high tide so not so great for swimming.

Not really a hike. Just park and walk to the lighthouse. If you like history you will enjoy the lighthouse. Beautiful views

Nice walk to a quiet beach. Dry track the day we came down so easy walk, not too slippery. The surf was quite rough, a few people brave enough for a swim, not sure if that is the norm or if it was just a rough day? Beautiful beach with views to the lighthouse.

Worth the short hike to a very pretty beach without a lot of people. The hike definitely could be a little slippery when wet.

Beautiful short walk down to the Secret Beach. It wasn’t raining when we went and therefore wasn’t slippery at all. It’s steep but fairly easy when it’s not raining. The Beach is absolutely beautiful! We wanted to go snorkeling but the ocean was a bit rough at the time. We will definitely come here again!

We saw several species of sea birds and a pod of spinner dolphin walking along this trail. Bring your National Park pass or military ID to save on the entrance fee. And definitely bring a long lens...

A little steep to go down because of the mud, but it is a really nice beach. There is not a lot of people!

Very easy walk. Don't forget to bring your National Park pass like I did.

Wonderful time. Hiking part was fine and our 5 year old made it down and up with some assistance. Beach was great and not crowded. Would recommend.

Awesome beach, clean, easy hike in and out. Be careful of mud if it has been raining but not a hard hike at all...just a little steep. One of my favorite beaches!

This is a great hike! It’s not challenging, but offers some incredible views of the ocean and tide pools. It looked like you could even find some nice places to hang on a beach.

One of our favorites, but it is still closed from the flood damage. 6/10/2018.

The lighthouse isn't the most impressive thing to see or visit. Not worth the $5 to get in.

This is by far my favorite beach anywhere!!
I’m glad you changed the rating from easy to moderate. It’s definitely harder going back up as it’s very steep but very worth the beauty and uniqueness of this beach. Where else can you simultaneously hear the sound of waves and a waterfall?

Not really a hike. You have to pay $5 to get in and gates close at 4. Pretty views, lots of birds, and we saw some dolphins.

Easy hike with cool tide pools at the end. Could be busy, could be the only ones there.

Very muddy, it rained and was drizzling when we hiked it so it took us awhile. Steep and you can easily slip so be careful. Nice beach at the end tho! Just be careful.

Secluded and gorgeous. Good to have hiking sticks for steep descent. We stayed on the left side trail. Beach to the right hike looked nice too but more overgrowth of plants across trail. I think that is Pilaa

Short but somewhat steep in parts, hence the moderate rating I suppose. Easy, 10 minute hike when dry; could be trickier when wet but well worth the effort to get to such a beautiful beach.

Closed at the moment due to the severe flood of 04/15. it will take months till it will be reopened.

Tried to do this on Sunday, 4/22 and it was closed. Not sure why or for how long but may be best to call the nearby mini golf course to see if it’s open!

Beautiful easy hike with nice views of mountains, streams and plantation! Great todo even on a rainy day!

Only open Tuesday through Saturday 10:00 am - 5:00 pm otherwise gate is locked!!!

A walk through beautiful forest and farm land to arrive at a scene from Fantasy Island. Garden setting with water flowing over the stone damn. Swimming hole behind the damn, great for a picnic. Very memorable!

Its private property!

Beautiful loop through working farm. Super friendly people working along the way. Very interesting and amazing botanical garden and dam. We loved it despite the rain.

Beautiful walk through a working farm on private property. The majority of the farm is planted with a special type of mahogany, I think the guy in the store said that there are 86,000 of them on the property. The trail is free but is maintained from donations, which you can put in the jar in the store where you sign the required waiver form. A pleasant, easy walk to an old picturesque stone dam. Mostly along a flat gravel road thru a mahogany forest. The most picturesque part is the very end. Totally worth the 5 mile round trip walk, which can be done in an hour and a half. Turn left at the first fork (trail sign will point to the right) to go directly towards the dam if you want shorten the total walk (maps along this well marked trail show the way). Recommend for repeat walks.
