This was one of the coolest hikes I've ever done. Every waterfall is amazing and the second half through the bamboo forest was surreal! 100% would recommend for anyone in Maui

Beautiful!!! The beaches and lava rocks are amazing. Not a hard hike at all. amazing to experience!

great hike to the falls ! highly recommend!

Loved every moment of it. From the bamboo forest to the crossing of the raging stream. If you don’t mind getting a little wet, go all the way!!

Loved it!! Rather muddy so go prepared. Early if you want to avoid crowds.

What a treat! The falls at the end of the trail was spectacular. Walking through the bamboo forest was pretty cool also.
It had rained most of the morning, so the trail was very muddy in the afternoon. It got a little slick going down hill. Wear good traction shoes. It helped a lot. I could hike this trail every day for a year and love it every time. A must hike on Maui.

One of my favorite trails so far. Easy to enjoy the scenery throughout the entirety of this trail but the ending view is the biggest reward!

Hiked early, raining so much that trail was a stream. Gushing water all down the gorge so "pools" were non-existent below. Falls along the way and at the top were thundering. Banyan tree and Bamboo Forest added to the spectacular beauty. Waimoku was worth every bit of the hike, tho couldn't get to the base of it, due to the "stream" to cross was currently a raging river.
Soaked clear through but only saw 4 other folks on hike while i was coming down, so very peaceful.

Great hike with a spectacular 400 foot waterfall at the turnaround. The bamboo forest midway was amazing

The waterfall is pretty, but there are better stops along the Road to Hana.

Wild rugged and beautiful there’s almost no one else out there if you go in far enough...lava rocks are pretty sharp though so be careful, and sometimes it’s a little hard to see the trail but the views are totally worth it :)

This hike was our last of the day after a long day on the Road to Hana and all the small hikes it had to offer, so take this review with a grain of salt.

The hike up until the banyan tree was great. Past this the mud was plentiful and SLICK (my camera and I ate it pretty hard) with little to no options to bypass using drier foot paths. We hiked to the bamboo forest and called it a day. I'd do this again on a drier, sunnier day.

Easy hike with great views. Pools were closed due to high waters, but I was still able to get some amazing shots. Parking was $25 so make sure to hit as much as possible while you're here.

Absolutely incredible hike. There are not words to describe the Waimoku waterfall at the end. The bamboo forest just before the falls is stunning.

Lots of falls to see along the hwy, this one was alright compared to the others.....so many to choose from

No trail head to speak of, overgrown considerably and on private land....all enough to keep moving elsewhere.

Pretty neat place, worth the stop. Staff provides good info but there is a cost to incur. Locals get a discount.

Beautiful trail that pretty much any level hiker can do. It was a little rainy when we went, so we just had to be careful as you are stepping on a lot of rocks and tree roots that can be slippery.

The 400 ft waterfall at the end is breathtaking and worth the hike!

This is still my most favorite hike. It's truly a must! The massive waterfall can't be beat!

I cannot even begin to explain how breathtaking this trail is. We went up in the pouring rain and it was still incredible.

It's an amazing pool and close by cave in deep 20 ft water perfect for diving 30 feet down into the pools of brackish water. While it's a little muddy to get down to the water, there are plenty of places to jump in for the adventurous!

A hiker was struck by a falling rock earlier today.

Really liked the rainforest views and waterfalls along this hike. However the trail was temporarily closed at the entrance to the bamboo forest for maintenance so had to turn around early. I think this hike is a must-do if you are staying in the area

A nice quick hike to go check out the coastline. Unfortunately swimming in the pools was closed during our visit.

My boyfriend and I loved this trail. The waterfall at the end was out of this world.
The pools were closed when we went but the view was still beautiful. I would recommend it. Wear bug spray if you have it.

Great hike! My wife and I were not all that impressed with the road to Hana: to touristy and way too much driving. We completed the loop by driving down the east side and holy shit it was not fun. However? This hike was fun. Lots of incline and very muddy. Bamboo forest was so cool and the falls at the end of the hike were amazing. Lots of deck style trails. Very important:: no swimming has been allowed for a long time. That part was disappointing.
