Georgia Map

Decent walk. A lot of shade from trees, which is nice on a summer day in Georgia. Walked after a rainy day and some areas were muddy.

Worthwhile trip to see the falls. Great workout. Thankfully dogs are welcome on the hike.

difficult, but gets easier the more you do it. It starts off easy but that changes quickly. Pace yourself on the way up and down. it's like you're going straight up, so on the way down it's straight down. The view is beautiful at the top. There's an old war grave/memorial which is what the Disney Trail was named after. Once you pass it you come to almost like an outdoor church area with benches and a podium. It is beautiful! Hard but worth it! Trails are not smoothed out or anything like that. There are rocks, roots, dips etc.

Great overlook of the river.

A fun hike, but it lacks a view and a “payoff” for the climb.

Great hike with waterfalls along the way. The main waterfall is near the end. The whole hike is worth it if you climb the cliff and see what’s behind the waterfall inside of the cliff. There are additional waterfalls that you can see from the top of the rocks- it’s a very difficult climb but worth it. Also- climb down to the waterfalls along the trail. You’ll get soaked, but they’re worth it.

Very easy hike but one of the families favorites. My 3 yr old and 6 yr old have no trouble with this hike and love climbing the rocks and playing in the water. The swimming hole at the upper falls is a great place to cool off.

Great hike for newbies like myself. I would consider it easy to moderate due to the gradual incline but rough terrain. The trail follows a stream the entire way which allows for beautiful views of several small cascading falls and areas to cool off. The view of the cliffs are amazing especially for someone like myself from Florida.

This trail was perfect for our family! We had a 4 year old, a 2 year old and a 19 month old in a carrier! Very Shady with a well maintained trail that followed the water! Plenty of fun bridges to walk across and places to stop and play in the water. It took us about 40 minutes to walk in and 40 minutes to walk our , but that is with kids in tow :) we will definitely do this trail again!

Great easy trail alongside Moccasin Creek with several waterfalls!

This trail is a must do. You get to see the first blaze on the AT with a incredible view on top of Springer mountain and then you'll follow a incredible creek with mutable waterfalls .

Be forewarned. There is no trail that’s actually called Rocky Face Loop Trail. To do this loop, start at the trail marked “Big Rock Trail”. It heads up the ridge. About half a mile in you will meet up with the Creek Trail. Follow it to the left to eventually make a loop back here. You can also take the Cascade Trail off of the backside of the creek trail that leads to a gorgeous cascade. I’d rate this entire loop as moderate. Nice morning hike.

Beautiful views and fun trails! Different levels for everyone with the 2 or 7 mile trails.

The falls are a must see for everyone. Beautiful and breathtaking. It's easy to miss so make sure you are looking for the trailhead or you might miss it. Get there early since parking is maybe 3 cars. Easy hike but if it has been raining wear shoes you can get muddy.

my partner and I hiked this trail last weekend, it was cooler and breezy which made the hike very nice. Spectacular overlooks, changing terrain, waterfalls, mountains. We had a great time. We passed about 8 people in the entire 8+ miles, I think half of them asked if we had seen any bears, apparently bears are prevalent at fort mountain SP. We did not see any bears by the way...this is an excellent hike, we would do it again. It took about 4.75 hours to complete, and we stopped for lunch on the trail and at one of the overlooks. We like to hike at a pretty moderate pace.

Very easy, well-marked trail. I hiked it with my 73 yr-old father, 8 yr-old daughter and our dog. Great for this, though be careful of alligators near the water with your dog. Also, parts of the trail aren't shaded and it can get hot, so bring water. Lots of places to stop and sit. A very nice easy hike. Main trail is marked red. Short trail is yellow. Don't miss the cypress forest boardwalk just off the main trail. It's really neat. You likely won't see another hiker.

Nice views on this hike. Unfortunately, the trail has not been kept up well, so keeping on the trail got more and more difficult the further out we got. We made it to sign post 33 and decided to turn around. We were probably only a few tenths of a mile from the end, but the trail became hard to find. We followed the advice in a prior review and found the trail head across from campsite 4 in loop A. Nice spot, just needs TLC.

Fun trail with a great water source at Gooch shelter.

Easy walk and a little over grown but not too bad!

What a wonderful hike my uncle and I completed and on warm morning. The elevation gains may be a challenge for some. It's a near 45 degree angle at times for good distances. The view from the Vogel overlook is amazing. Didn't see any bears.

Nice trail and fairly scenic along the Hooch. Mulberry Creek is the final destination and is nice place for kids or the four-legged children among us.

beautiful hike! map was a little confusing especially the yellow Trail but it was all good.

Okay hike. Through the woods, along a little stream, but nothing special. Falls not that easy to see because they're in a crevice.

Very pretty, short, paved, hike along a stream to a smallish waterfall. Very very pretty. It takes a lot for me to give 4 stars to a hike this short and paved, but it's beautiful, and sometimes you want to take grandma in her wheelchair or the baby in a stroller, so this is just perfect for that.

The hike followed nice, clear trail. A few downed trees along the path.

I hike this trail every day after work. It’s a great workout and is well traveled.
