Careful when it rains! It gets slippery. Go early or late for best views/light. The hike gets crowded on the weekends.

Nice hike, but the markings are a bit confusing. The granite gets quite slippery when damp.

Great trail. We hiked the largest outer loop. At times it got narrow and swampy down by the lake, but most of the trail was wide and well maintained.

Pretty tough hike but so well worth it once you see some of the views.

great workout!

Well marked, scenic. Probably the best hike in Georgia

It’s a trail by a river and miles of it, it’s alright.

This trail is great. Gorgeous views. Very well marked. The trail is all gravel except for a couple of short, wood bridges, so if you have a stroller, make sure it is made for off-roading.

As falls go in GA this is an easy hike to a short creek falls with two camping sites on the creek. Certainly not to be compaired to a top ten in Ga. Good canopy for a cooler hike. From trail head to the falls is .8

Getting my butt up that mountain was definitely a great work out but it wasn’t as challenging as I thought it was going to be based off the reviews. Also... I was super nervous to bring my dogs after reading the reviews as well but my two 60+ lbs dogs made it up no problem!! They really enjoyed it!! Super fun hike.. well maintained trail... only downside is there was a scorpion in the bargirls bathroom

Nice and well maintained trail. Staff and rangers are extremely friendly and helpful. Would strongly suggest to keep a map, available in visitor center. Ample amount of parking space.

Very busy on the weekends so get there early

Get ready to get wet! This hike has plenty of creek crossings so make sure you come prepared. The falls are absolutely gorgeous and the trailhead was pretty easy to find. Best part was definitely the fact that there was such little traffic on the trail. You should totally check out Emery Creek!

It's a nice walk in the woods. It's not to long. Getting to the lower falls does have some incline, but nothing serious. The upper falls are a breeze to get to. I like the fact that it doesn't take forever. It's a good date hike. Carry a bottle of water. The Georgia humidity is crazy right now with all the rain.

Great hike. Beautiful.

Great hike! The river crossings are fun on a hot summer day and our dogs loved it. There is swimming at the base of both falls. Things to note...at the start of the trail there are two paths, one leading down to the river and one leading up. The one leading up is the main trail. Also after reading the other reviews we expected the first crossing to be difficult. We did a somewhat challenging first crossing where we waded across the river but it turns out we just crossed too early and there was an easy crossing further down. Basically if you think it looks like a hard crossing keep walking and look for the green blazes!

Wonderful day hike with scenery varying from shaded woods to river crossings with bridges. Be warned that trees frequently fall and block the path near the Unicoi side of the trail.

Great short trail, gets the heart pumping a little and is kid and dog friendly.

Enjoyable hike out to the Inn with a couple day stay. We loved the Rhododendron groves and the hike took about 4 hours with our 3 year old walking halfway and 5 year old doing the entire path.

Our first time and we loved it.

One of personal favorite waterfalls in Georgia. I am totally in love with this beauty. A fabulous hike to the fall a great workout of about 7.5 mile. I have visited here quite a few times and ready to be there anytime again.

A good workout hike uptill the top of the cliff. The waterfall is gorgeous and accessible. I went in the fall and the water was icecold but it was fun to be able to reach to it. Had a great time.

It a neat short 2 mile hike to 2 small waterfalls.... 1 from the lower loop and other from the upper one.

Lots of boardwalks on this shaded trail make it comfortable on hot summer days. Dont take your bicycle if it's rained recently or expected to, boardwalks become dangerously slippery when wet. the new 4 mile extension is welcome with the mountainous Sawtooth Pass being a challenge for even the most fit riders to climb.

Been walking this trail since I was a kid. The back end of the trail really needs some clean up from downed trees. But I would recommend this to anyone. It’s worth the 5$ parking :)

This place is tranquil and glorious. The hike is quiet and let’s you get into nature without the loud packs of people and airplanes over head. If you’re trying to get out of town and hike your heart out this is the place. The falls are beautiful. Don’t miss this!

Hike/walk. The incline is absolutely killer but it’s a great workout and the views are gorgeous, on the way up and very rewarding at the top. Recommended!!

Awesome trail, we had such a wonderful hike. The weather was perfect. Lots of shade and a wonderful workout! Preachers Rock was a magnificent view, totally worth it!

Moderate trail with pretty views. There are waterfalls and all sorts of things to see! I recommend this trail for sure.

Had a wonderful hike today with my wife. The falls are so worth the trip. But as others have said boots not shoes. I'm also looking to go back and enjoy some camping along the trail.
