Tiger, Georgia Map

We just hiked to the falls which was an easy in and out hike and not too far. Pretty falls, great way to cool off with the family!

Long drive down sketchy road but easy hike at end. Did seem good ways before we saw our first Georgian waterfall. Good time and nice easy hike

If you hike the whole loop its a really decent hilly hike. Its not a very scenic or pretty hike but its good for exercise. I tracked 5 miles on the fitbit. I hiked it counterclockwise so the waterfall was at the tail end. Be prepared to have wet socks and shoes tho... there are 2 shin/knee deep creek crossings with no logs or stones to step on. The waterfall is quite pretty and easily accessed.

How did we end up on this trail? Well, Chores came first and then we were in need of long hike after that we could get in before the sun went down, plus the name of the trail sounded great. :) Once we had the gps directions we knew we had been there before, or at least we thought we had until the GPS took us on the road past it. FYI follow the brown road sign clearly marked for this trail and not the GPS. The trail head is a different story, it is not marked. Trust the check in point & if you have a mountain bike enjoy the ride & if your hiking enjoy that too. We travelled clockwise and once we got to the water the trail was quite beautiful. The giant Hemlocks were impressively tall. Just a little after half way as we came out to the dirt road, I realized that we had been on part of that trail before enjoying the refreshing waterfall. Today was definitely not the day for that, so we continued up the dirt road and reentered the trail where it is actually marked.. :) and enjoyed the rest of our switchbacks and uphill climb. Not sure if this is a busy trail once it becomes warm, but today we had the entire trail to ourselves.

We drove the bike trail in and parked. About a 1/2 mile easy walk to the falls. The reason I rated it so well isn't due to the monstrosity of the falls but to its seclusion. A great spot for a younger family to experience waterfalls. Shallow wading area at the bottom. If you re looking for a challenging hike this isn't the place.

challenging, tight, twisty

Really enjoyable! The water especially.

Great trail! I strongly recommend the White Twister loop. Moderate difficulty, with some pretty intense uphill pulls.

Trail is in good shape, some deadfall that's easy to carry over. Excellent trail with good balance of moderate climbs and technical downhill.

Nice moderately difficult 11 mile loop that shows what true mountain biking is all about.
