My 2 and 4 year old did it no problem, a bit over grown and quite a few trees down though.

Really fun short hike with great views and nice shade on the way up. Strenuous for folks in my crew that aren't avid hikers, but luckily the hike back down is a breeze. Bathrooms and parking available. Go right at the trailhead. Heavily trafficked but wasn't too bad on a Friday afternoon in the summer. A couple of great spots off to the side of preachers rock to hang a hammock and eat some lunch while still taking in the view.

Relatively easy and short hike to the overlook. Beautiful views and trail is well maintained. Dog friendly. Outhouse available in parking area.

It was a good hike. Overlook from Preachers Rock was nice and then about a 1/4 mile further was a barely maintained trail to the right that went to another overlook.

Great trail. Awesome views.

Most of the trail is a vehicle trail. The bridge was nice and what hiking there was was enjoyable. The description is somewhat misleading. We will visit again, but would like more accurate descriptions in the future.

I was expecting to park at the starting point and go from there, but there was no parking lot and no cars there. It turns on that the left (west) leg of the uploaded trail is a dirt road. We followed this road to the approx lower intersection of the two trail legs. There was no real parking lot, but a dozen parked cars. Apparently the vast majority of the people that visit this trail walk the short distance from their parked car to the bridge, stand around a bit, and walk back.

The bridge IS nice. The trail system on the other side of the bridge is also largely dirt roads, but fairly scenic.

We enjoyed the hike, but would not have made the hour plus drive if we knew this in advance.

Absolutely loved the view!!! This hike is a MUST!

Great place. Steep at places, but well worth the view.

my favorite hike so far! beautiful

The hike is pretty easy and the view is lovely.

Awesome trail. At trail head take the trail to the right. Amazing canopy along the way. Dog friendly. Amazing views at the top! Well worth it! Will do this again!

Great trail and view. we took our dog and she enjoyed it too. I would suggest getting there early if you plan on hiking during a nice weekend day as the parking area was full by 1130am yesterday.

Often referred to as The Hanging Bridge Trail? We elected to drive to the trail head to the bridge. Several hikers were on the FS road and we heard that it was an easier walk then the trail it’s self. The trail from the parking to the bridge was short and well worn. Parking at the trailhead as well as back on the main road was very crowded. The reward at the end, the Swinging Bridge was beautiful and worth the effort. Due to it being spring break it was crowded and a little trashy.

2/27/18: It was not as impressive as Big Cedar Mountain but still fun.

Pretty dope trail. Super easy. Amazing view!

Pleasant afternoon hike for Wife and I to Preachers Rock (approx 1 Mile to rock). Great views along they way, particularly from top of rock. Will do this one again! Moderate to Easy.

The trail itself is very nice, good grounds for exploring and getting a little solitude! I knock it two whole stars due to the extreme difficulty the road leading to the trail head in Suches, GA provides for any car that isn't a tricked out Jeep Wrangler. The drive in from the road to the trail head is probably a little over a mile, yet took me over an hour altogether to get in and out. I'd never been more grateful for a little even pavement after that!

Was a great short hike for the family. Youngest being seven years old. Nice trail, great views and not crowded on a weekday in February.

Such a beautiful view at Preachers Rock! When you first come up to the trail you can go left of right... no idea where left goes, but right goes up to Preachers Rock so if that’s where you’re trying to go, take the trail to the right!

Absolutely stunning views at Preachers Rock

Perfect hike with a huge pay off at the summit. Perfect for beginners and a must do for the seasoned hiker.

Been a few times now. Little bit of something for everyone. First 3/4 mile gentle easy hike then next 1/4 mile tough uphill for most. Great overlook approximately a mile from woody gap.

Spectacular view from Preachers Rock!!!! Would love to go back at peak fall color next year.

Great trail with a moderate incline in the middle. Preachers Rock view is well worth the hike

Super easy trail with an excellent view. The view will only get better as fall arrives.

equipment ...Osprey day pack, trekking poles and plenty of water.

Definitely a moderate trail. Lots of debris on trail after the remnants of hurricane Irma blew through.
