nice walking trails. pretty scenery and vegetation. No big view from the top, but it is relatively secluded. you could spend an hour or several hours here.

It’s fine

Nice!

easy, nice hike. the views at the top are worth it. we went with little kids and they did ok. give yourself extra time to hang out at the house of dreams at the end. I would not use a stroller. too much gravel and you would be pushing forever. we used a child carrying backpack and it worked great. took us one hour to get down walking at a normal brisk pace. took maybe 1.5 hours to get up.

Took my little dog out, wanted a short, fun hike and that is what we got. We saw a couple other cars/people in the parking lot but no one else while out on the trail. The path to the trail loop is only very slightly grown over and is still clearly visible, and the trail itself is well marked and easy to follow.

The view at the top is gorgeous!

We did Lee's Loop. Except for some traffic noise in the distance, it has the feel of a remote trail. Some areas a bit overgrown with seasonal grassy growth. Enjoyed the hike very much.

Hike was wonderful. 4.8 miles total hike. Around 740ft in elevation. Graveled trail. Gravel sizes ranged from dime size to baseball size. There are some areas on the trail that are dirt flat. My wife and I also brought our three small children. Ages 8,3 and 10 months. We used our Graco stroller. We strongly suggest to use strollers with bigger rubber wheels, to help maneuver through gravel. Getting to the House of Dreams is very rewarding for this hike. The tower, house, pergola and garden, compliments the beautiful views. To beat the dark on the trail, try to leave the House of Dreams at sunset. We left a little later around 7:30, so the trail lighting was getting tough with 3/4 to half a mile left to go coming off the trail. Love the hike, love the nature, LOVED the views but most importantly LOVED being with my family on this trail.

Our first time and we loved it.

Great, short hike. Not hard because it's so short, but the steep nature of the hill may limit some folks, especially since there was some debris and a fallen tree along the way. There are a few inconspicuous benches on the way up, making for nice spots to relax. Pretty little view at the top which connects to another trail. Lots of cool info about Longleaf Pines along the way. Within its purpose and scope, this trail is great.

Great trail! Beautiful views!

It isn't too difficult, but the trail is in need of some general maintenance.... Trail head located near East Boat Ramp

Love this trail! My favorite for biking with the family. It’s paved except for 1 bridge. Easy ride.

our first hike confuse at first dnr officer very helpful telling us of the three trails. 2 short one , one long one enjoy very much will do it again, trail on mountain trail mark great with blue paint on tress

A good, relaxing hike up the mountain gives way to some incredible views and a wonderful property. Start at the Pavilion for a bit more challenge

It was a ok trail. Lots of rocks and not too much to see. There is a overlook along the backside of the loop

Historic Jackson Hill was the location of Fort Norton, an earthen fortification system which defended Rome during the Civil War. It has several trails to choose from, all very easy to get to and to hike. Today, winding trails provide a quiet getaway just blocks from Downtown Rome. Outdoor exhibits include the Boswell Cabin Trailhead, a cotton gin, replicas of Civil War-era cannons.

had a nice hike with my family. make it to the top just in time to see the sunset which was very pretty. was a perfect hike for my 4.5 and 6.5 year old kiddos. only had to stop twice for a sip of water for them. definitely will be back & so thankful this app finally led us to the correct place to park! ❤️

This trail is mainly an access road to the House of Dreams on the Berry College campus. It is gravel covered and has very little scenery until you reach the top. After reaching the top you will be invited by the beautiful Martha Berry's House of Dreams. The spring time is your best bet, due to the plants and flowers planted on site. Enjoy.

Very nice for a walk; easy on the dogs and the lake is gorgeous.

nice and easy trail. gravel road with plenty of shade and beautiful fall colors. worth the trip to see the view from the dream house and gardens. rest room facilities also on dream house property in separate building.

Short hike through Longleaf Pine restoration project at Berry College. The trail starts along Old Mill Road and climbs upward to intersection of Snow Loop and Mountain Goat trails. 0.4 miles to the top.

So the main loop is called Dorsey Trail loop. There are 2 Spurs off the loop. if you go right onto the loop, the first one is called "To Flower Glen trail" this spur goes down to to Flower Glen Trail that parallels with creek and has wildflowers on it. It ends as it hits Horseleg road. It is not very well kept and there are no markers on the tree. The second spur is marked red, it goes about 0.25 miles on the ridge before ending at private property. This and the loop will have views of the mountain tops through the trees during the winter.

There are 2 separate trails here. From the parking area to the left is the Braille trail. To the right is the loop trail. This trail is a short loop, not bad. Overgrown near the parking lot, but it does get better.
