There are 6 to 8 trees down on the far side just pass the damn. Otherwise it was great.

The trail part I went on today was a tad overgrown and spiderwebby.

Pretty and peaceful. I did go on a Wednesday morning so I am sure weekends would be much more trafficked. Cute little swimming area for kids to play in and you can see sections of the zip line course throughout the trail.

Wear pants on this trail, lots of brush up against your legs. Also, if you are afraid of spiders don’t do this trial, there are webs all along the trail that you will have to duck under or jump over. Great like views almost the entire way.

Nice, well maintained trail. If you’re running, try to stay off the bike-heavy trails. Otherwise, it’s a great long-ish trail run!

There are multiple trails besides the one shown. The one shown is named Eagles Pass Trail which is 1.9 miles long. I actually took the trail by the river called River Trail. The river is beautiful. You can camp here and also kayak.

It’s a gravel path that does not go around the lake. Bring extra bug spray.

Overall, it was a really nice, wide trail that was fairly well kept. There was one tree that fell across the trail and there was more trash along the sides and in the lake than desirable, but it was just cosmetic, nothing wrong with the trail itself.

Clean trail and great views of the lake. We had to get off trail and walk on the side of the highway to reach our car but there was a nice surprising damn to view from the bridge. Overall it was a good hike for the family.

Easy trail just outside of historic downtown Porterdale. If you're interested, the neighboring park has a disc golf course.

We love this hidden gem. Full of interesting history. Beautiful views. Very clean. The river walk is a flat easy trail. There’s other trails but we haven’t explored those yet. There is horse manure, but it’s nature and easily avoidable and not littered everywhere. There’s a place to launch your boat. $5 day pass. Places to fish. Camping by the river. View the river at the lookouts. Splash park for the kiddos, shelter houses and tons of tables and space to picnic. My family loves this place and whenever we go it’s not crowded.

Nice easy, scenic trail. There are a number of fishing docks along the way if you want to throw out a line as well. Great trail for families with younger children.

Amazing trail. Great for kids, dogs and those who may have trouble on steep or complicated tails. It was in great shape, sha fest with lots of over views of the lake.

Like the previous commenter, we decided to hike here after Anna Ruby was closed on a Monday. Very happy we did. Trail was very well marked, heavily shaded and cool, even in July. Great views of the lake and the beach was open.

The water is very high right now, and moving fast. There are a few downed trees that are tricky to get around. Be prepared to duck.

not a well marked trail. definitely have to cross the dam in 1-3 inches of water. parking is $5 and you'll need your own pen to complete the form.

Not a well marked trail. We “lost” the trail several times and at the end just walked the paved road back to our car. Bridges are very slick. Very overgrown on the dam. Looks like an animal trail instead of a hiking trail. I think it would be a nice hike if trail was marked and had a clear path the whole way.

We decided to do this trail on a whim after discovering Anna Ruby Falls is closed on Mondays. It was an easy loop with beautiful views of the lake and the neat cabins. It was pretty flat and well marked. You can access it from several spots, we got on at the swimming beach which was a nice area with restrooms. (The beach has restrictions due to COVID)

This is not a trail, more of a walk beside the road. Not what I was hoping for at all
