This is a really fun hike! An amazing view 1.5 miles in makes it so worth it and gooch gap is a really cool little spot in a valley 2 miles further.

This was a really fun trail, not very long of a hike and really fun! Even in the cold there was ice and snow everywhere and a super view at the top. If you’re anywhere around you should put this one on your list

It should also be noted that these trails are only open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Good ride too cold but well worth the trip to get some pedal time in. Light lasted a little longer to get some miles in before calling it a day.

Hiked in counter clockwise. The weather was cold, and do to a front that moved in the night before, everything was covered or dusted with snow. The trail looked amazing. I branched off to the Appalachian trail at the split. It’s a bit confusing with the way the sign reads but it’s a left toward Neals Gap if you’re wanting to do the loop. A good majority of the little runoffs were frozen over so water wasn’t available until I reached the base of Blood Mountain. Going up to Blood Mountain overlook was challenging as many of the steps were completely iced over. I would recommend having some spikes available for these parts if you plan to venture out in the same conditions. I stayed overnight at the summit for the Super Blood wolf moon lunar eclipse. Pretty impressive from up there. The following day I hiked down and finished the Slaughter Creek trail to complete the loop. More running water on that side of the loop. All in all a good hike.

Watch for blazes and sign posts. Not well marked throughout. Way too many dogs off leash. Great trail overall.

Great hike! Can't believe the beautiful hike is in Georgia. Canyon floor was awesome, and the views were unbelievable. Like a little Grand Canyon!

second deck was blocked off...so we missed a great view of the right side of the falls. other than that, i really enjoyed it. hearing the falls before we got to them really built our anticipation and we weren't let down.

Awesome trail, didn’t see anyone on the AT Approach section but several groups on the Hike Inn section.

Awesome hike! Great campsites if needed!! Variance of terrain - with all the dead leaves definitely watch your step!

it was really nice, it has been raining so falls were awesome and enjoyed the time with our dog

Great trail overall. Preachers Rock was sweet, but the better part of this trail is towards the end when you have to short spur. There is another view that’s just as pretty and much lower volume for people. Busy trail, good for dogs, not good for young kids.

Good for a day outside with kids. Hike is very easy and short.

Great views and clearly marked trails! Check the tides and come at high tide!

Highly recommended!

Great hike on a day when the weather man said “don’t go outside unless you have to”. Trail was a bit muddy after yesterday’s continuous rain and temp hovered around 28, but all went well. Hard to get lost on this simple loop.

Been to Panther Creek many times. Until today I’ve never gone from the Clarkesville trail head to the trail head at Yonah lake. 13.5 miles out and back. Such a great hike! Lots of stuff you have to get around but well worth it! After you pass the falls it becomes even more scenic. It also becomes much more difficult after the falls. I love it!

28° and windy, no one else on the trail the entire hike. Seasonal views.

Great trail. Easy/Moderate due to inclines throughout. Easy to follow with lots of Pokémon.

Definitely pay attention to the trail signs and bring your owns gps. The hike is harder near the northwest portion of the trail-narrow trail and slanted due to the terrain. The southern portion is easier with good views.

Did this trail on a windy and rainy day-just went slower but was still a good manageable trail. Definitely follow the posted trail signs. Lots of options to make it a short or long loop. Beautiful scenery.

great hidden gem in upson county thomaston. this trail is about 5 miles, moderate and then difficult at the end. steep and a good cardio workout. beautiful and well marked.

Great little 3 mile loop. I never run into much traffic, but see lots of wildlife. Gets very muddy after rain.

Did this trail on a foggy Saturday morning in January, just before a front moved in. The trail interweaves with an old Forest road and is best described as an intense descent down to a beautiful creek followed by an equally strenuous climb back to the parking lot. There were numerous blow downs...nothing you couldn't easily go over or around but this trail could use a little chainsaw work to clear the path. We will absolutely be going back to this hidden gem of a trail

Trail was marked very well. I was searching out a good trail in the area for my daughter to start on that wouldn’t be too technical or long but had some good views. I will say that I believe the actual trail head is a the Bear Hollow Wildlife trail on Elan Road. I used the direction tab on the app for this trail it put me in a coulda sac. Overall good trail for beginners I believe.

Excellent trail. Moderate elevation changes. Only took 3 hours. I am sure the views are great but today was steady rain\clouds\mist. The good thing was I only passed two other people.

Great hike! Super foggy but still gorgeous. Would definitely recommend!

Trail system is well developed. Everything from gravel to rock to clay base. Lots of leaf litter in the winter. If there are leaves and it's raining, be careful on the steeper grades as there will be tifton clay right underneath the leaves and you may go surfing! Recommend mid or high hiking boots instead of trail runners in rainy conditions - you will slog your sock-top runners in areas where drainage swales have not been developed. Horses frequent so be prepared to step over dung a lot.

It was silent, peaceful winter trail.
The weather was little cold but rock climbing is make me sweaty.
And rest of the course was nice, easy.

Blue trail is nice and easy trail for me and my 3 kiddos!
