Awesome trail to run

Great options. Paved walkway for a chill walk or varying degrees of trail hiking.

Trail is nice not too long. They say dog friendly but dogs are not able to walk the main trail which is the one closet to water. Some of the signs are confusing but overall good trail.

NO PETS. I found this out after driving an hour to get here with my dog. Please update this site. It says that dogs are permitted on a leash 

Nice hike, but the markings are a bit confusing. The granite gets quite slippery when damp.

This trail is great. Gorgeous views. Very well marked. The trail is all gravel except for a couple of short, wood bridges, so if you have a stroller, make sure it is made for off-roading.

Wonderful day hike with scenery varying from shaded woods to river crossings with bridges. Be warned that trees frequently fall and block the path near the Unicoi side of the trail.

Been walking this trail since I was a kid. The back end of the trail really needs some clean up from downed trees. But I would recommend this to anyone. It’s worth the 5$ parking :)

good for time

Great little area.

This place was good:) although the road takes u to some private road it brings you to a right place to start after you park your POV(private owned vehicle). The place starts off with off road trail that has road closed bar/sign. The previous review is good review but its a LOOP trail! Before you start there is a board of sign, map, caution, all good trash on it

It's a beautiful park and almost never ending. Beautiful spots for photograpy and a playground opportunity or 2. The 'waterfall' here isn't really a waterfall, rather it's water running over some slippery rocks. But it is still gorgeous. If you chose to go on the rocks, be careful. It does pull and you'll probably lose your footing. It is VERY slick. I highly recommend this hike. There is also more than one loop, so read the map beforehand if youo want to see the water feature.

Very poorly marked. We figured out we went the wrong way after it was too late. When you begin the trail after you park stay to the LEFT. I’m sure we will be back to hike the correct trail next time. Kind of a bummer.

The river is fantastic. Steep climb out once you get down to the river, but well worth it.

Easy hike!!

Nice, short trail with water views. Perfect trail for kids.

I ride this about everyday to get from Evans to Downtown Augusta, fun and easy ride with beautiful scenery. On my days off I like to take advantage of the Mountain bike trails that are off the side at the Water Works station.

not a bad trail but not well marked. If you cross the creek you are on the other side which is 4+ mile loop.

Nice trail but nothing too exciting.

We love this trail.

The trail is interesting. I just hate the little bridges. They are in major need of repair/replacement. otherwise the trial is slightly technical and lots of fast fun...until you come to another bridge.

Great beginners hike or a hike with your dog. Loved it. Had quite a few beautiful lake front spots to let your dogs loose and have a blast.

Very hot day. Trail was clear for the majority besides one overgrown sunny spot. Trail thru the woods some cool rock outcroppings near the beginning but kinda dull after that.

Simple walking path with a small creek that crosses it. I liked the many mushrooms/toadstools along the trail, but maybe much better as a biking trail.

This is a lovely trail but only a few spots on east side of loop with relatively easy access to the water. On this day, nice breeze on east side, but none on west side. Day after, dog can barely move. Good boy!!!

Nice trails and well kept parking area with porty potties, hand washing station. Bathrooms are built but not open yet. Trails are fairly easy. Picnic area with picnic tables are also available.

there are more bike trails than walking but I have fully explored all but two which are bike only paths. tons of great views and easy to navigate. my favorite park so far
