Nice 4th of July hike with the family. We added a little distance but was perfect for my 4 yr old.

Cute little park with small gravel trails. They have horses right near the park and you can see them from the playground. Restrooms available.

The back side of the trail has some rust and rocks and would only be appropriate for mountain bikes

Amazing trail, first 2 miles the hardest the rest flat, up and down. 90% natural shade, highly recommended!!! Of course bring water and snack you will need them for sure!!!

It’s not a bad trail, But there is some trash back in the wooded sections and it’s very crowded even for early on a Sunday morning. Nice for a walk, on the backside a little bit of elevation for a hike for what it is.

I run this great trail multiple times a week. See a lot of wildlife on each run. If you go early morning or late in the afternoon you stand a good shot of seeing some deer.

Great out and back - tree down from a recent storm on the west side of Cheatham Hill road near the horse lot.

Nice little easy hike.... could've made it even easier if we did it backwards. The only downsides to this trail are that it's a bit busy and a lot of road noise - all to be expected though on an urban trail though. Wide trails that are maintained very well.

This trail is very smooth and perfect for both walking and biking. The only suggestion I have is to clearly mark the beginning of trail. Other than that I enjoyed it.

Did 13.7 miles of the full hike today. It was a gorgeous day and got off right before the thunder started. All trails are open and well marked. Crowded going up the mountain but then few to moderate number of people after that. Right now they are not charging for parking.

Trails re-opened in mid May after being closed due to Covid-19. Playground is still closed. Trails are easy. Areas around the pond are shaded but for the most part the trails have no shade and are through grassy fields.

Really nice today. Not too crowded.

Nice relatively flat loop.

Boring as some others are saying, but if you’re in the area it’s worth a stop. Due to the closure for COVID and lower traffic, I have been riding my bike on the trail. There are quite a bit of trails not marked on the map, that can help make this more of a loop. Quite a few pipe crossings if you go down the middle, creek / water crossings if you venture into the woods. At the end you can see the dam, and see across the river where people are laying out or letting their dogs in the water.

This is rucking not hiking... lots of buildings, traffic, bridges very little nature.

This is one of my favorite trails. Love being near the water.

really really nice trail is nice and long, the elevation is good for people that just want to walk or take a small hike, but also get the miles in.

on the other hand if your going on the lower trails it a good long hike. trails are nice and wide for you and a friend. don't miss the history along the trail sides.

I love this trail. It’s peaceful and beautiful. Be careful though because some idiots go here and feel like they can yell at you and threaten you. Had a lady tell me she would punch my dog then had someone yell at me for passing by them. Crazy people come here be aware. Nd now u have to Pay online to park. That’s so dumb especially since lots of people near there go on a weekly basis.

Don’t follow directions on this app. Plug into Waze and it will take you to correct entrance with parking. Great paved trail with no shade which is perfect for soaking up the sunshine. Bikers, runners, walkers, dog friendly. Not a big deal to cross intersections to stay on the trail.

Nice, easy trail with paths that are well maintained and not muddy. Fee to park for the day, but the surround areas are worth it. There are multiple other trails that connect to the marked path. Pet friendly, easy parking, mountain biking paths around the area as well.

Should be labeled as an easy trail. Would be a great jogger/runner.

Bring a backpack with water and snacks, & lights if you’re starting in the afternoon! This is an all day adventure. Had to hightail it back because we forgot flashlights, so we were trying to beat the winter sunset (we started at 11am and took too long at the summit- both mistakes on our part) finding parking depends on where you start your route, there are plenty of access points with free parking especially if you incorporate any of the other trails in on this one, but I recommend following this trail strictly to stay on time. Great views at the top, getting there is the most difficult part!! The rest of the trail is smooth sailing. I recommend going to the summit first, unless you enjoy torturing yourself like I do. We looped around then climbed and I hated myself for it.
