Tourist trap. Look elsewhere for a hike.

Easy and family friendly (touristy) but breath taking all the same.

Decent hike. Good for families and pets - steep steps to the waterfall area.

Rock City is absolutely breathtaking and has a lot to offer! It is a very interactive place to visit with amazing overlooks. They have various events throughout the year to make your trip even more fun! It is entirely paved on a pathway. I went later in the evening in hopes of less foot traffic, but there was still heavy foot traffic. I would definitely check it out again. The only downside in my opinion is the pay to get in but I thought it was worth it.

Loved it, the view is amazing!

Great trail, not too crowded.

Everyone should do this hike at least once. The waterfall is gorgeous and the hike is a nice one.

Fairly steep in spots but the steep spots are for long enough durations to cause too many problems. Would be a great hike in the fall or winter

More a stroll through rocks & gardens. Great views. Gets kind of weird at the end with Fairyland Caverns. Suitable for families with small kids.

Access to Lula Lake Land Trust is limited. Open the 1st and last Saturday each month from 9-5. From May through November, it's also open 1st and last Sundays from noon-5. Advance reservations required. Costs $15/vehicle. See lulalake.org for details. I bought an annual parking pass, which allows for parking closer to trailhead (and no reservation). Far too many people merely walk on the gravel road all the way to the lake and falls. Yes, this is the fastest route, but far from the prettiest. My favorite route: from the meadow, cross Rock Creek on the footbridge. Then turn left onto Middle Trail. Left on Ford Trail. Right on North Creek Trail. At the end, turn left to go down to Lula Lake itself. Further downstream is Old Falls Trail. Steep, but shortest way to base of the falls. Up Lula Falls Trail (more gradual). Then up High Adventure (very steep, but ropes are there to assist) to Bluff Trail. Hike along the bluff for a mile or so, then right down Jedi Trail (taking the left fork). Cross to Ovenbird Trail, then to South Creek Trail (which is so very lovely and serene!). This comes out again at Middle Trail, not far from the foot bridge.

Nice wide trails, but they aren't marked clearly enough. Be sure to photograph the map before heading in.

Not hard at all, but in chanting and beautiful. Really is an amazing place

Fun little hike with a group of friends and a couple of doggos! The trail is wide enough to walk two or three across and have conversation while hiking. perfect little afternoon trail.

it was a pretty easy hike, even for the wet weather last night, and the "moderate" rating. beautiful water, lots of rock scrambling

Great hike, though it was misty and foggy that day, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I took the middle trail to the falls, the water was roaring because of all the rain over the past several days. I hiked the buff trail back to the trail head, couldn't see the views because of the fog but the quiet solitude more than make up for that. All and all this was one of my all-time favorite hikes.

Fun walk with the kids. Sights, and environment make up for how easy this walk is.

This was a killer hike to me. Mostly wooded with a small creek. It was mostly downhill going in so was grueling going back up. Peaceful area. Saw just a few other people.

The best trail tour for guests

This is not really a trail it is more of a walkway. It's an interesting little walk. The view is awesome and the waterfalls are pretty. Not a hike though. More of a fun family outdoor activity area.

Great trail! Even in the snow!

Love everything about this place. The trails are marked well and the water falls were full of water due to recent rain. We were able to find trails for our level of ability.
