nice hike!

great trail.

this is a great trail. it can be a little tough but nothing you can't do with your dogs

I love this trail. I have sprained my ankle on it 3 times so it's definitely rocky and a tad difficult without appropriate shoes.

i love the owl so majestic.

Georgia state parks never cease to amaze me. This trail was absolutely beautiful and a wonderful hike right on the creeks edge

Beautiful trail to hike but like others have said I would consider this more moderate. I did the red trail and took the white trail connection back to the welcome center so was about 5 miles total. It’s pretty rocky and tons of tree roots so make sure you have good shoes. I did see a copperhead snake and a sign saying rattlesnakes are prevalent in the area so keep your eyes peeled and be cautious if you leave the trail. Parking fee was $5.

Great trail. Gets crowded but worth it.

Great short trail with some steep inclines and declines through wooded areas and flats near the creek. Saw 2 young deer as well as tons of turtles and fish along creek. Great hike.

It was a great trail, but my only complaint is that the park rates this trail as moderate-difficult, which is not in line with the rating.

awesome trail. had a great time with my gf and dog.

It was a Sunday after some rainy days so the parking lot was pretty packed. But I wouldn't let that deter you. I don't really think it should be rated as difficult though. There were a lot of families and kids going the red trail so I took the yellow. It was ok. Only two inclines that got my heart rate up a little. I finished the yellow and took the orange. That one was nice. Gradual inclines and gradual declines. I saw only 2 people on the way out so it was much less trafficked than the yellow or red.

Great trail , wonderful time with family and friends.

Cool hiking place. End of the red trail was a little challenging because of the steep hills. However, it really worth it. After taking a lunch break, we also went for the yellow trail. Less crowded and have an awesome bridge to take a good photo.

gets very Rocky and the trail gets narrow after rain.

Great trail, some difficulty but nothing major, just watch your step!

Amazing creekside trail with waterfalls.

loved this park and trail for a day hike while in town for work

This was a great first hiking experience. Will return.

beautiful river

Beautiful hike with easy to follow trails, and not too many other people. I'm not sure I would call this a "Hard" trail as advertised. Although there were some steep parts, it was a very small part of this 7.5 mile trail. So don't let that designation scare you off! If I can do it, so can you!

Love the app

Great day hiking with puppies. They loved playing in the water, and it exhausted them

pretty good trail. A decent amount of elevation gain, but I prefer more of a workout. Would definitely hike this one again if I was in the area.

On another note, has anyone besides me experienced any, um,, strange encounters near the bridge?

very nice trail. Worked up a sweat! We went down some stairs and just hiked all by the side of the creek, river? Was pretty challenging going thru all the rocks and tree roots. Loved it! I was kind of upset that there was a gate and couldn't go down to the ruins. I thought you were able to go down there but it was locked. Oh well,we enjoyed this park Alot! Clean and well marked.

Completed red trail and part of white. Great walk along Sweetwater Creek! Go to the end of red trail to begin a more arduous walk along the white.

Long hike to clear the mind. Sweetwater Creek is a beautiful element of this hike.

Great trail with amazing views. Hard at some areas but moderate. Definite repeat.
