Really nice

$5 fee, crowded with large slow moving groups.

Very easy trail. I have ran it before but only because I have known were everything is at. I have seen a lot of wildlife on this trail.

Nice and easy trail. Great for those who like to have a chat while hiking.a few places to sit near the falls and have a peaceful experience.

Dont go on the rocks, the warns are real. witness an experienced hiker lose their footing and got cut up. There are many small broken shells all in the water that may act like razors.

$500 fine if you go in the non existent water! no biking.

This was a nice short hike with stunning views of the falls. We went early in the morning on a Saturday and by the time we were leaving the trail was starting to get busy. We took our 50 pitbull mix and she handled the trail fine and she couldn't resist jumping in the water. This was the perfect spot to try out our new hiking gear before embarking on longer treks in the Smokies.

Nice and short. Beautiful. Water fall

An easy 2 mile walk through the Georgia woods, that’s about it. Some slight inclines and a couple down trees. The Historic Trail which takes you past the old power plant is closed off. Combine this trail with the other high falls trail which has much better views of the falls.

A favourite trail of mine to hike with my dogs when I'm looking for something a little longer; has the potential for 20+ miles of hiking with all the different trails and leads into the Indian Springs trails which I also enjoy. It is well maintained and well marked. Features lots of wildlife and creeks and, in general, it is a fairly simple hike, but make sure that you keep alert for mountain bikers, as there are usually a lot.

Also, per their website and the trailhead, yes, leashed dogs are allowed on the trail, just not in the nature center. The trailhead is located a little further down the road from the nature center.

Nice, short trail with water views. Perfect trail for kids.

Heavily used trail with great views of the falls.

The Falls that cascade over the boulders are beautiful! The trail is very easy. I’ll go again!

Nice wide trail. Nice bridges. We saw dear and hawks. We followed the shorter green path. Had to guess which way to go a couple of times but it wasn’t a big deal. There was a stream part of the way.

Simple trail with some great views. Good start for beginners

Heavy traffic on weekends.

This trail is fun to ride with technical ascends. The only problem with this trail is it can be very easy to become lost due to the fact that the trail at certain spots is not marked well. Overall this is a good trail.

this is a easy well marked trail. also if your hot a great place to cool off.

I have hiked this trail several times with my wife Donna and our dogs (German Shepherd and Shih Tzu). It’s a beautiful area. We all managed the trail easily. We have also canoed the lake and have picnicked by the falls. You aren’t supposed to walk on the rocks or in the water but people being people ignore the signs to cool their feet from the summer heat. It’s very dangerous as their are unseen holes and the wet rocks are extremely slippery. You can easily break a leg or ankle. I helped one lady carrying an infant who stepped in a hole. Be safe.

I absolutely LOVE this place!! From the trail to the waterfall, it's very beautiful. I love getting in the water and absorbing everything around. It's an amazing place, no matter the season!
