enjoyed the trail and waterfalls, our first time using this app and glad I did! I would definitely recommend coming here.

Great 5-Miler AT Loop if you want to get your heart rate up. Ample parking. Clearly marked. Steep ascent for first section. You’ll come to a fork (blue blaze Rocky Mtn trail to left), keep right to stay on AT and follow it down to a gravel road. Hang a left on the road to follow blue blaze trail to make the loop - eventually heading back into woods on left. Back up steep ascent over pretty runoff and then final leg is all downhill. Looks like it can get pretty messy and slick in the rain, but gorgeous views at top of first leg. Sing loudly as bears frequent the area in the summer and not high usage.

Great little stroll. Easy

Well maintained trail and even though the upper deck is closed due to a tree falling on it and making it unusable, the two falls coming together at the lower observation deck is fantastic!!

Pretty east trail for an amazing view.

Had a great hike today. Great views at the top. It is pretty steep with rocky terrain for the first mile. After that it gets a bit easier. Took the Rock Mount Trail back to complete the loop. Not as scenic as the Unicoi, but it did give a change of scenery

Deceptive at first - the two+ mile hike to the AT (app says 3.5, signs said 2 - I’m inclined the truth is in the middle) ends at Indian grave gap and the last stretch is a long slog uphill - gets the heart going but not too hard, never see a person on this trail - it’s a great way to tack on 2 miles of solitude til you get to the AT and decide north or south - north to Tray has the better camping.

This was a beautiful trail with breathtaking views on the Unicoi to Indian Gap. The trail begins with an upward hike on a rocky terrain for close to a mile- tough, but worth it! The trails do get narrow in places, but it was all clear. Definitely a challenging and fun trail on a warm day in north Georgia.

The falls are great!! Only wished the upper observation deck would have been fixed.

nice climb

Great little challenging trail.

This trail is located close to Helen, Ga so I'm sure many tourists think about going. Just a warning! When you walk down to the bottom of the falls you must walk back up! Beautiful hike and well worth it though! The views of the river are just as beautiful as the falls.

Short, easy hike and spectacular views of the fall! I went after it had just gotten done raining so the water was in full force and it was glorious!

OK. This is a bit of a surprise. Easy walk down and back up. Well maintained. But the waterfall at the end is amazing. You get to see one of the best falls in the area and it's only a mile or so there. Much better than hiking 8 miles through crazy terrain for a little trickle of water! This one is HUGE. The kids loved it - great picture opportunity !

Nice trail. Started in Unicoi and went to Helen and hiked back. Trail was well marked and well maintained.

This short trail down to the falls was amazing. Tons of views, no way I could give this any less than a 5 star review.

Easy hike—well maintained path. Beautiful multi-tiered falls. Some recent storm damage prevents access to the top observation deck at the trail end, but the trip is still worthwhile. Make sure you bring $4 in cash for the parking fee!

The view of the falls at the bottom is nice.

A tree took out a large part of the upper viewing platform, so you couldn’t see the upper Falls well, but besides that, it’s a nice hike. Wish you could get down to the water more easily but if you back track when you come down the stairs, you can access the river.

$4 to park, so make sure you have cash or check. Great easy hike! The falls are beautiful but I can see this trail getting crowded in nice weather. Took my Shepard, great trail for dogs & from what I saw, easy for kids.

Beautiful tall falls at the end of a well maintained trail. Family friendly walking. This location gets very busy on weekends and during tourist season. Parking fee required and clearly explained at the entrance.

The falls are beautiful! Our dog enjoyed it. The kids loved it. 5 year old walked down and up on her own. The 3 year old needed a lift back.

Wonderful trail! Took about 40 minutes, and the view was awesome. Very easy! At the bottom, one of the lookouts is closed (trail is broken), but on the other one, you can climb out and go in the rocks, but be careful, it is slippery. A radio attached to my pants fell off, and went into the river, managed to get it out though.

The power of water simply amazing loved hiking this trail with my gtanddaughters❤️

Such a gorgeous, magical place!! The trail is absolutely stunning!!!! The waterfall is gorgeous but, unfortunately, 1 viewing point is blocked off due to a tree so there's no access, but the other viewing was still amazing!! I definitely want to come back to this place!!!

Easy hike to beautiful waterfalls
