Excellent hike along the river. You pass several swimming holes. Great for families!

Get there early to avoid crowds

Great hike with waterfalls along the way. The main waterfall is near the end. The whole hike is worth it if you climb the cliff and see what’s behind the waterfall inside of the cliff. There are additional waterfalls that you can see from the top of the rocks- it’s a very difficult climb but worth it. Also- climb down to the waterfalls along the trail. You’ll get soaked, but they’re worth it.

Great hike for newbies like myself. I would consider it easy to moderate due to the gradual incline but rough terrain. The trail follows a stream the entire way which allows for beautiful views of several small cascading falls and areas to cool off. The view of the cliffs are amazing especially for someone like myself from Florida.

Okay hike. Through the woods, along a little stream, but nothing special. Falls not that easy to see because they're in a crevice.

Very pretty, short, paved, hike along a stream to a smallish waterfall. Very very pretty. It takes a lot for me to give 4 stars to a hike this short and paved, but it's beautiful, and sometimes you want to take grandma in her wheelchair or the baby in a stroller, so this is just perfect for that.

Great place with 13 year old. Moderately a challenge without killing yourself. Hiked to the cliffs where there is a waterfall and pool to cool off. Husband hiked partially up to the summit. Approximately 3 hours round trip. People wearing tennis shoes, sandals, but hiking boots preferred due to many roots and some rocks.

Awesome hike! We got stuck in a thunderstorm 3/4 of the way up but pushed on & it was absolutely worth getting soaked and coming down in mud that was about a foot deep! My 10 year old loved it

very quick hike, but the waterfalls are really cool!

enjoyed the trail and waterfalls, our first time using this app and glad I did! I would definitely recommend coming here.

Just completed the out and back on this trail. Very pleased with it in several aspects. The end was awesome, at the cliffs and falls. A good way to spend a few hours soaking in the beauty of God's creation!

Fly fishing was ok. Good hike. Great day out. I wish people would pack out their trash.

Great 5-Miler AT Loop if you want to get your heart rate up. Ample parking. Clearly marked. Steep ascent for first section. You’ll come to a fork (blue blaze Rocky Mtn trail to left), keep right to stay on AT and follow it down to a gravel road. Hang a left on the road to follow blue blaze trail to make the loop - eventually heading back into woods on left. Back up steep ascent over pretty runoff and then final leg is all downhill. Looks like it can get pretty messy and slick in the rain, but gorgeous views at top of first leg. Sing loudly as bears frequent the area in the summer and not high usage.

beautiful hike to a magnificent waterfall

Beautiful hike. 5 miles total. The whole trail is pretty difficult for newbies, but I do half of the trail 2-3 times a week. It’s great for conditioning yourself for harder trails.

It’s a beautiful trail, along the water the entire way. Coming back out can be a little rough if you’re not in the best of shape. But there are lots of places to rest and recoup if needed. Beautiful waterfall and swimming hole!

Great little stroll. Easy

Well maintained trail and even though the upper deck is closed due to a tree falling on it and making it unusable, the two falls coming together at the lower observation deck is fantastic!!

Great trail!

Easy Hike, Nice Waterfalls

Pretty east trail for an amazing view.

Beautiful hike, next to the river the entire time.

so we took out five year old autistic son for a day of exploring, we had a blast! The Prince, (as we like to call him) did right at two miles before calling it quits. this place is beautiful and an moderately easy hike at a good pace. having the river beside us was awesome and everyone we meet on the trail were super friendly. I'm new to hiking and this was kind of a foray into seeing how will I could hold up. this will likely be one of my favorite trails.

loved this trail, even in 36 degree weather. beautiful waterfall and river views all along the way.

Great, relatively easy hike. Really crowded on the weekends with lots of dogs and kids and parking is sparse. Plenty of places to play in the water and falls and at the end there’s a bit of a scramble up to see the main falls in the rocks. Take the gravel road at the parking lot to find some amazing primitive campsites.

Had a great hike today. Great views at the top. It is pretty steep with rocky terrain for the first mile. After that it gets a bit easier. Took the Rock Mount Trail back to complete the loop. Not as scenic as the Unicoi, but it did give a change of scenery

Deceptive at first - the two+ mile hike to the AT (app says 3.5, signs said 2 - I’m inclined the truth is in the middle) ends at Indian grave gap and the last stretch is a long slog uphill - gets the heart going but not too hard, never see a person on this trail - it’s a great way to tack on 2 miles of solitude til you get to the AT and decide north or south - north to Tray has the better camping.

Not too challenging for a novice, but overall a really nice walk. I went in the morning and the trail was pretty much empty, but later on as I was coming back down from the falls it had gotten crowded.

This has become one of my favorite hikes in the southeast. Several waterfalls and numerous creeks to cross. Climbing the rocks at the very end of the trail leads to a beautiful view that makes it a satisfying end.
