Really enjoyed this trail! Moderate elevation changes and great view from the top!

When you get to the top you will get that ‘WOW’ feeling! Many squirrels around. One kept coming to us and get our nuts! He didn’t seem to be afraid of human at all. He even climbed onto my back!

Nice hike and summit view close to Atlanta.

Fun bike ride with the family today! We found the trails well marked. The pump tracks in the woods were fun and the obstacle course pump tack at the park just opened Oct. 27th. It was a beautiful day and the trail wasn’t too difficult to enjoy. The trail had a varied landscape with lots to see.

Very poorly marked trail. Signs are super confusing. Didn’t even get to see the whole thing because we ended up going in circles and it started getting dark. Would not go back.

Good trail. Nothing difficult in regards to terrain changes. Nice view at the top. Excellent fall colors for mid November.

We would have loved to hike it, but Gus when we got there( as did many others) NO DOGS ALLOWED

Unfortunately when we arrived there, we found NO DOGS ALLOWED!!

Beautiful view, but no dogs allowed!!

This is a newer park with a nice and quiet nature trail that winds through huge hardwoods and around giant meadows. Perfect fall and spring walk with a nice stream with little waterfalls.

Nice flat train and the scenery is beautiful.

Nice trail and fun to ride

Top view very nice , great Trail .

I took my dog for a walk there. The trail is easy. It’s partly in sun and partly woodsy. There have been others there each time I walked there so far. Clean bathrooms available as well.

Great little trail. Perfect for kids. Easy elevation changes. Lots of little lake beaches to hangout on along the trail.

There is no clear map at entrance! Main trail is not marked. We still managed, but checked All Trails several times to make sure we were going the right way.

Dog friendly.

We took our dog here for a hike. They have great trail head maps and the trails are kept very clean. We will definitely come back!

Nice hike - would not considerate this moderate - more like easy. 9 year son did this with no issue. View from the top is nice. Busy trails on a Sunday morning but not overcrowded.

Easy hike with a beautiful view.

No dogs allowed!

A shaded, easy hike on a clear and maintained trail. Nice views from the top.

Really peaceful and safe!
I did the full hike and wouldn’t call it “moderate”...I’m used to hiking and this trail kicked my butt. I also had quite a few slips (and one big fall) on the crumbling rock and saw other hikers struggling to keep their footing too. I can’t imagine kiddos being able to do it, but maybe if you take your time ;)
Overall, a good, challenging hike—but a little dangerous when it gets steep.

We walked the loop with a break at the seats. It was 4.3 miles and definitely moderate. We enjoyed ourselves and saw people from toddler to elderly on the trail. Though would be nice if slower moving people would slide over so you can keep your pace but not a biggie.

No dogs are allowed (Pooh!) which is why I gave it a 3, but even without my sweet dog, it was nice. I believe there are only 2 trails on the south end of the lake that do allow dogs. With the popularity of this spot I can understand why no dogs but this area in general is just not dog friendly.

Fun and easy hike. Well-marked. Great view. Lots of parking.

Clean, Quite, Loose Rock

Easy hike to the overlook. Be mindful of people climbing below you. There are about 10 routes the climbing is easy but people throw rocks over the edge all the time.

Not a good sunrise hike, as advertised. The place is also overrun with high school kids on a Saturday morning. Views are good for Cumming, GA, but doesn’t compare to Yonah, etc.

Loved this short easy trail with beautiful views of the lake the entire way. Many benches and places to stop to take in the views.

Lots of boardwalks on this shaded trail make it comfortable on hot summer days. Dont take your bicycle if it's rained recently or expected to, boardwalks become dangerously slippery when wet. the new 4 mile extension is welcome with the mountainous Sawtooth Pass being a challenge for even the most fit riders to climb.

This trail is so easy to follow. Loki and I enjoyed our morning walk .
