This trail is so easy to follow. Loki and I enjoyed our morning walk .

not a bad trail but not well marked. If you cross the creek you are on the other side which is 4+ mile loop.

Great hike! Definitely need hiking boots as there was a ton of rocks, roots, etc. But, that’s why we are outside, right? There wasn’t much traffic on the trail. Felt safe as a solo female hiker, but of course i was prepared! The last .5 of the Mountainside Trail will get ya...uphill. Get your head around it. Great workout! Will be back.

This trail seems better suited to cyclists than hikers. It's very narrow in parts and I was constantly stopping to let cyclists pass. The trail was not very well marked in places. Also not much to see but the very occasional peek of lanier through the trees.

Loved this trail. Good workout and quiet in the early morning. Be careful of loose rocks on the trail. Wear appropriate footwear. Lots of fire ants so don't plan to stop for a trail snack.

Beautiful location for families looking for a playground, picnic areas, Historic bridge, and scenic backdrop, that includes water, for photos. However, no hiking trails here.

Love this hike. The view is spectacular and the hazy mountain tops are a treat to the eyes!

Great trails for families. One of my favorite ones.

Wonderful trail with a great view. Felt safe the entire time. Only saw a few people. Just make sure you follow the signs carefully or you might end up in a different parking lot.

Fantastic easy hike. Doing the whole loop gives a decent workout. Shaded. Beautiful view at the observation deck, as well as boulders to climb around.

great easy trail for kids :) we had out of town guests and this was a perfect trail to fit everyone's skill level.

Scenic dog friendly trail. Clean paths. Nice lake views.

A great trail run! Pretty flat, beware with large groups, this is a mountain biking path first!

Great family hike! Amazing view from the top.

Fun trail, dogs on a leash but some people don’t follow that rule.

Great trail with both a 3 and 5 mike loop. Lots of canopy to protect you from the sun / heat of the day.

there are no hiking trails here. This is however a very lovely place to swim in the river or have a picnic. There are plenty of picnic benches and paved trails to them

A decent hike that has a gradual increase in elevation. We are late 30's and early 40's. Wear your hiking boots as the rocks are plenty and so are the tree roots. You would be fine in sneakers but boots will really protect your ankles if you step wrong and your toes when you hit a root or rock. There were people of all ages on the trail from 2 years old to 75. We did the Indian Seats Trail and on the way down took the Yucca portion which connects to the Indian Seats. All told we did 4.3 miles in just about 2 hours at a steady pace and a 15 minute stop at the top. We did this hike on June 23rd at 9:00 AM. There was plenty of tree cover from the sun the entire way and a very nice breeze at the top. I would suggest doing this as soon as the park opens in the summer time because it will get quite hot. Great start to the day.

Fun trail to run. The direction alternates every other day and is fun either way. Looking forward to hitting it on a Mtn. bike soon, too. Oh and my dog loves it. Under canopy so not too hot and the lake is right there to cool off in afterwards.

Fun going either direction

well maintained and not too crowded if you go at the right time. Beautiful overlook

Great hike with lots of up/down winding, well-blazed trails... clearly marked which direction is biking & which direction is hiking. We went on a Saturday so lots of bikes to contend with. The gnats were not my favorite but beautiful views of the lake and secret alcoves with picnic spots and benches. There is plenty of parking and bathrooms available at trailhead. No parking fees required!

I saw several cool deer hanging out.

Nice little North Atlanta hike. The trail is well-maintained and the views are great from the top. Indian Seats are cool. Not too crowded but we started early.

An awesome trail just minutes outside of Cumming.

Enjoyed this..beginning hiker..views at the observation deck were great. Not a lot of people on the trail.
