It was a very low deep, waterfall. Going down was long and very deep. It must be said that this waterfall has a very long very steep climb up. Very hard to do. Waterfall was tiny and not worth it.

HikingGreat!

Trail was great. Its a dirt/gravel rd hike up. Beautiful place to picnic once you get there. Takes 30 mins to get up to top. The fire tower itself-you can walk up the stairs but the main cab is closed.

Hiking

Steep little trek on pretty flat terrain. Perfect pick for a recently injured ankle. And beautiful views as a payoff! Definitely a fall hike as the walk up is probably pretty boring when the leaves are still on the trees.

You The trail had a number of fallen trees and has not been maintained. Small waterfall but other trails would be better

Nice and well maintained gravel/dirt roads. Lots of good campsites. Would do it again.

This is a great hike if you want something easy with views. There’s definetly an incline but it’s nothing too crazy. You walk up a gravel road and come to an open field with a little cabin and a firetower. You’re able to climb the tower but just the very top is locked. You’ll have AMAZING views!! Then there’s a picnic table to enjoy the views and eat some food :) recommend!! Just be careful driving to the start. It’s about 2 miles of gravel road that can get a little crazy at times. Take it slow and you’ll be fine.

Off Road DrivingMuddy

Ran this past weekend. Chopped down a few trees blocking the path. Several spots have become more tricky due to ruts and erosion. Was very wet and used 4Low a few times. 90% of trail was 2WD. Pretty boring trail overall.

Ran the trail this weekend. Trail in not easy due to other 4x4 damaging the trail By digging big Ruts. Water crossing we fun. Most of the trail is closed do to trees on trail. Only was able to do half the trail.

Slippery after the rain, and fairly steep but the falls were running well. Definitely worth the short hike. The park is beautiful as well!

Gravel road, steady climb, dry. We parked down from gate for a longer hike. Spectacular views. Top of tower is closed, but still offers panoramic views. Large grassy field at top.

Off Road DrivingGreat!

Ran this trail two days ago in beautiful, weather I didn't camp but camp areas looked good. They are spread out in small groups and each group had its own set of bath rooms as the do in primitive campgrounds. .The farther you travel up the trail, the more difficult it gets. You can reach most camp sites in most any vehicle. To go all the way you will need 4-wheel drive at least. I was in a stock Jeep Gladiator and had no problem.

The blow downs are cleared and it’s a beautiful, short trail. Many small cascades and huge boulders. We began the hike from Tallulah River road at bridge.

Single lane road to the gate with limited pull off areas but we did not meet incoming traffic so it was not a problem. Road generally in good condition except on a couple of places. Actual walk up very night nice. Just slightly busy with other hikers.

Very steep. Your knees better be up to it! And make sure to have hiking poles or a walking stick to help you. But I think the waterfall at the end was very pretty and peaceful. Definitely worth it to me. And it was such a short trail, so why not? Go for it!
