Path is not bad to see downtown but would choose some better streets to walk down. Honestly the only good part is going through the park. Someone needs to redo this trail with a better path and make it more streamlined. All the in and outs are dumb.

I haven’t had a chance to do this yet, but being new to the area, I appreciate a route that will hit the highlights of my new city. I’m definitely adding this “hike” to the bucket list!

very easy for biking, walking and running.

This is not really a joke, it’s more like a walkway that runs thru the heart of Atlanta. It connect to Piedmont Park and Ponce City Park. It’s winds through brewers, restaurants, parks and shops. People rent scoters and bikes. It’s worth your time for a city experience hike/walk.

Awesome trail completely paved in the heart of Atlanta. Beutiful houses to look at and commodities.

Mostly concrete but good mileage and away from exhaust pipes!! Freedom Rings!

Other than mosquito attacks (an expected part of any walk near water in Georgia) it was amazing. My dogs loved it.

Most incredible urban trail there is. The volume and speed of cyclists has gotten dangerous given the high pedestrian traffic. Would recommend in early mornings. You can venture north through the Park and up parallel to Ansley golf club (gravel trail) - this stretch is generally completely desolate.

Atlanta is not a fun city. Take me to the trails!

This is not a trail it's a city sidewalk and sometimes there isn't even a sidewalk. It circles Woodward Academy and passes through the neighborhood surrounding it. Both are very beautiful, but again this is no trail. It's not in a park and there are no trespassing signs all around the fenced off Woodward Academy.

My husband and I had a great time but I’m not sure if I would be so happy if I was a local. Extremely busy on a Saturday afternoon. You had to be careful as it allows walkers, bikers, and electric scooters that are for rent. People going all different speeds and dogs on long leashes. But there are many interesting spots to stop and have a drink, eat, or listen to music. It is a paved trail but we enjoyed being in the city while still walking a path.

The whole way of the route is paved, it is full of art, very nice place to walk, ride a bike ...

Beautiful winding and shaded, paved path with lots of hills–only downside is scattered trash and litter along the path.

Beautiful walk and a wonderful place to spend a day around Atlanta.

Have been a regular on the beltline since it opened. Love to come here and stroll to different areas to eat, attend events, or meet with friends. Perfect for days when you don't want do any strenuous exercise.

Easy peasy

This was an urban hike through Freedom Park on the PATH trail, by the edge of Candler Park, over Lullwater Creek, and then through Olmstead’s linear parks: Shadyside, Oak Grove, Dellwood, and Virgilee. Hikers without dogs could detour into Fernbank or the Frazer Center’s Cator Woolford Gardens at the turn-around point (around the 2 mile mark).

Refreshing little walk in the city. More sidewalks then surrounding areas. Lots of nice redevelopment to give one remodel ideas.

Super sparsely used but so pretty! Really hilly, would be great for a run! Saw literally no humans once we left South Bend.

Great! Love it! So much to look at while running/walking/biking whatever!
