Really enjoyed this trail! It’s easy to follow and has a nice creek with benches so you can sit and relax. I brought my nephew in his stroller and it was okay (a few times we had to lift it up over a few big trunks) but other than that we loved it! Great for dogs too!
Basically a nice simple secluded stroll in the woods for when you want a nice walk or just to get a little exercise in.

Beautiful trail and easy to walk. The trees provide enough shade on a warm Georgia day.

Really nice, extensive trail connected to several other trails. All-in-all more than 13 miles. Shaded, well marked, and very popular with locals.

Please city park. Nicely landscaped and not too crowded.

this park was closed for so long, but it was worth the wait. Nice marked trails. Very quiet and peaceful.

Clean, delightful,Very easy. sun & shady little side trails off the main path.

A nice, relaxing trail that the whole family, even the canine members, can enjoy. The water scape segment of the trail has interpretative signs that tell about the area’s interesting history and environment. The park is popular with area photographers who use the attractive backgrounds for engagement, wedding, and maternity photos. The trail is also popular for locally sponsored Fun Runs and school cross country meets.

Easy 16 mile round trip. Flat ride. Good workout, but watch for heavy traffic during good weather and weekends.

This is a nice trail but, it’s not finished. There was flooding in areas and, a lot of mud. The trail was completely impassable under the roadway. I will definitely wait and come back on a dryer day.

Beautiful little hidden trail! Short but quiet and well maintained. Beautiful views of the lake.

Providence Park once owned by Fulton County, was closed by the county in 2004. The park underwent an environmental cleanup and was acquired by the city of Milton in 2015. Following trail renovation and structural repairs, the park reopened in November 2016. The park does provide a great opportunity to experience nature in a suburban area. It still is a work in progress however with a master plan calling for several upgrades. Currently, there are no restrooms but there is one portable toilet.

I really enjoyed the length of this trail. I was able to walk for a long distance without having to go in circles and see the same things over and over.

woods and rivers, plus you can't see the road which is great being in a city.

I'm on it 2-3 times per week - walking, running, biking.... today there is a lot of water right before the Haynes Bridge underpass. I was also checking out the southern access to Mansell Road. Does anybody know why its closed off? Lots of debris on the path too. Went from Kimball Bridge to the Mansell Underpass - slick with leaves and mud if you're biking.

Great park for kids and dogs. The hilltop overlook offers unobstructed views and is an excellent place to photograph sunsets.

The Greenway access point for the Alpharetta segment along Big Creek is located in Rock Mill Park. Rock Mill Park is a passive park and has attractive photo backdrops and picnic pavilions. Big Creek is more visible along this Alpharetta stretch of the Greenway than along the other segments. Fortunately, benches were placed at some of the spots where the stream is accessible. The river is clean. There are however storm water sewers along the route. Some tanks are rather large and vented. When the wind is just right, you may get a whiff of sewer gas.

The parking lot on McFarland Pkwy is not as large as the one on Bethelview Rd and neither does it have restrooms. The lot fills up fast. Busy trail this Labor Day weekend. Watch out for Bikers.

This is my go to for walking my dog on my off days from running. It's easy, pretty, and quiet. A nice sense of community as everyone from all walks enjoy strolling here. A lot of dogs. I like to note places I can get away with having my dog off leash (she's very well behaved and trained) but this is not one of those places. It's just a little too travelled and I want to be respectful of the rules (at least when other people are around). Best part for me is it's not paved or board walked like many area parks are.
