Great wildlife!

hiked this for the first time with North Florida Trail Blazers. Excellent trails with elevations that most trails in this area don't have. Great views await you on this trail.

I hiked this trail as part of the Florida Trail IDIDAHIKE 2018, always a great State Park to go hike and camp at.
The trails are marked and maintained well

Took a short hike towards old grist mill. Well marked trail. But found it confusing where to locate other trails, then it started to rain. Maybe more next visit
Nice playgrounds and camp sites

Gate was locked on the Bass Rd entry and there was no parking there. Find another entry point. Nice family trail and allows pets. Good amount of shade.

I enjoyed the local trail with the mixed terrain. It’s a great hike to do with friends or after work

Went in March and there weren’t any mosquitos. This trail is interesting. It’s an out and back with a loop in the middle. It crosses train tracks and has a couple of bridges. Mostly covered though a small portion is open. I would imagine this trail wouldn’t be good for trail running because majority of the trail ground has unearthed tree roots. Kid friendly. Brought my 3 and 4 year old and they did okay.

Beautiful trail. Plenty of birds and wildlife. The blue loop is well marked but be careful on the yellow loop. You can easily go off trail like I did. The maps to the trail are kept in the black box on the trail information board in the parking. The yellow loop extends into other sections that are not marked on the map.

Very well maintained. Trail is well marked.

Lots of different options and combinations for trails meaning that you could come back multiple times and have different experiences. Interesting. Would like to come back. Kid friendly too. I brought my 3 and 4 year old and they enjoyed it.

must have recently had a controlled burn.

I don’t think it was a moderate hike it was pretty easy but it was gorgeous!

We took my 60+ parents and our 9, 6 year old. We had a great time and were impressed with the elevation level for Florida. The only down side was the trail was right by the road taking away some of the illusion of being off in nature.

This park was a development project that was shut down by the government because of endangered habitat. The path was the road going in to the neighborhood. Looks like the road was intentionally torn up. Two loops. Long loop seems to always be closed. No park staff.

This is now one of my favorite trails.

Great trail although I got a little lost But would definitely visit again !!!

I really enjoyed this walk. The lake was beautiful. Enjoyed a lunch with my girlfriend.

I gotta say: this was a nice hike. When I went it was cold and rainy and pretty much the worst weather other than a full on storm, but it was a very easy hike and it was cool to see horseshoe crabs, fish, and large snails around the coastline. Definitely bring snacks and plenty of water because it’s certainly a long one.

Trail bridges are closed on the paved portion and trees have fallen and blocked the path through the woods... very disappointing

Being a trail runner from up north, entire Yamato scrub area is as good as it gets in south Florida. You can run on pavement, sand or pine straw and all trails eventually lead back to the main walkway. Winding side trails are my favs, running single track over a nice soft surface. No street crossings, cars or noise (maybe a little noise) to distract you.

it's ok if you take a compass with you. got lost many times. where there are maps it should say YOU are here! ill never go back . too many nicer easier parks to enjoy

Park at Yamato scrub area on Clint Moore and head south. It gets tricky at Yamato; cross the street and go across railroad tracks to pick it up again. I use it as a running trail to Glades and back and finish with a loop around scrub area.

Was a very entertaining cave tour, plus my wife and I had a great time exploring the Bluff trail afterwards. We had Robinson as our guide.

Great palms & not much people

The lake and the history on dugout canoes are both more than worth the hike.

Not much of a hike, just a walk. But the ruins are beautiful.

Nice trail, however I recommend doing during the week... weekends get pretty busy!

Hiked a combination of Yellow and Green trails due to Blue being temporarily closed to rid the area of Southern Pine Beetle outbreak.
Small hills and change of terrain was nice.
