this trail is marked " no hiking " but all trails has it marked as a hiking trail

Every easy for a first timer; mostly flat, a little damp in a few spots, but lots of animals. We saw deer, woodpeckers, cicadas, but no snakes or alligators.

Great trail , fully shaded lightly used lots of wildlife, watch out for alligators on the trail

loved this park. it is giant with a ton of walking trail options.

Great bird watching, gators were nesting on lake banks

For South Florida primative camping, very nice place.

I was the last week end and I think is so beautiful and good place for make off road driving. I was scared of take the ways off road because I was alone with my two guys and now with the rains it’s a lot of mud and pretty flooded. I’m thinking in go again for know better the place when find some friends with 4x4.

relaxing place to visit

The mountain bike trail is the best place to get elevation for runners in south florida. Also great flats for cooldown, into an alligator laden thick foliage lined path.

Great trail a little remote during the week, also watch out for alligators, one day I photographed 4 that we’re alongside or just off the trail. Saw 2 eagles one day.

Nice Florida hike in the swamp!

Out of time, but still want to fit a little Florida Everglades into your visit? This is a great short stroll for introducing visitors — or your kids — to alligators, a Cypress swamp and various Florida birds. Lovely wooden boardwalk with scenic viewpoints, some with comfortable wooden rocking chairs, so you can stay and sit awhile, listening to birds and gators. Very pleasant experience. There are also canoes and kayaks to rent at the trailhead, but nobody was working there when I visited. Four stars, only because trail is so short.

Great for off road bicycles.

Love this place! Trail 6 is my personal favorite! Camping at the campground is accessible and clean. Also close to trails and main grade. It can get swampy off the main grade... just know your vehicles’ limits or you’ll be stuck like Chuck!

Not great for running. Can’t do this loop unless you want to go swimming. The road is underwater at mile 3. Basically just a Jeep trail.

Nice family park with pavilions, lakes, a nature center, and various activities such as biking, kayaking, and picnic areas - you name it. They also have a one mile looping mulched path that was easy on the feet. They also have a paved path along the perimeter of the park. Loved it.

wife and kids enjoyed the main trail.
everything else is SUPER SWAMPY.
This Is made for hunters with swamp buggys.
campgrounds very saturated.
returning is a maybe.

Did both the main lower trail as well as the upper trail. Good first walk after not doing any for a while.

Park at the Publix in the Shoppes at Ibis on the south side of Northlake Blvd. Then after walking across Northlake Blvd, make your way around a yellow metal gate. The trail is not labeled, but it is easy to find and follow. The north/south route shouldn't get your feet wet. As of this review, I have hiked this trail 3 times without including the loop. To include the loop, there will be water to walk thru. As far as the north/south straightaway, one may have to walk around some puddles and around some muddy patches, but that is it. It should be easy to see an Everglades Racer Snake, a Pileated Woodpecker, a Red Bellied Woodpecker, a Green Heron, and a small Alligator, if you are stealthy and attentive. On a late afternoon, I saw some Raccoons. I have captured Deer, Boar, and Opossum, on a trail camera here. Depending on the time of the day, one may have to get a mile in not to hear a revved up car or truck on Northlake Blvd, but then the occasional plane traffic takes over from the nearby North Palm Beach County Airport. I do not believe there is hunting in this area.

Great park for trail running. There is an outer loop that can be used for mountain biking or trail running that is about 5 miles which is very technical with lots of roots. In addition there is an inner loop that isn't technical at all and is partially paved. That loop is slightly less distance. There also is a converted landfill hill that is 2.5 miles of uphill and downhill sections cut into the side of the hill that's around 2.5 miles that you can run as loops. This is unpaved . This trail is shared by mountain bikers but is a blast to run on.

The walkways through the marsh were low making it easy to view wildlife. Birds of prey, alligators, lots of turtles.

One of the best ones!!

This is a very simple walk not really a hike. But it was enjoyable from seeing a gopher tortoise pulling into the center to seeing beautiful painted warblers.

Awesome trails, the cypress swamp is beautiful. I bicycled through and saw abundant wildlife as well, in my one trip I've seen 3 alligators (sunning themselves near the canals), a dozen or so blue or white herons, ducks, and turtles. I saw some deer tracks on the trail as well. Definitely worth your time. However, the trail is not really a loop. It is more like a "U" shape that goes around the swamp, but not completely.
