Great trail to run. Nice views. Saw a deer and just a nice run.

This is a good trail if you want to go out for a walk, but if you're trying to get "in nature," I would pass. Part of the trail has you basically walking through the backyards of homes in a subdivision. Otherwise, the lake at the end is gorgeous and there was cool wildlife out there.

This trail is ideal to run with dogs. Most of the trail is shaded with green canopy. There is parking and water available (for humans and dogs).

Great series of connected bikes trails running from Weems Road east past the lakes, up through the heavily wooded hills and even across lakes to Billy’s Trail and Alford Greenway. Very diverse topography, and lots to see. There is truly something for everyone on this trail system! It’s one of my “go to” bike trails for a good work out and beautiful scenery. Easy to moderate.

One of our favorite trails. A little difficult to find the best exit from the end of the outer loop. Easy to moderate.

Nice open trails with a lot to choose from. The West Loop is nice with a view of Lake Jackson. The East Loop is more in the woods. Easy to moderate trails. Good diversity.

Gorgeous trail!

Not a bad walk. I think I was the first one there since I got all the spider webs. A lot of roots so watch your step.

We ended up walking a little over 6 miles because we got a little lost. Definitely plan to return again.

nice wide trail! Like all trails in Florida, bring bug spray! Great trail inside Tallahassee city limits!

Short loop around wooded lake. Fair trail conditions, but nice refreshing lake to use after you’re done!

great trail well manta gorgeous views

Great walking trail. This trail has several photogenic locations if you cross the lake and walk to the wooden bridge over the railroad tracks. I went during mid-spring and the lighting and greenery were simply amazing.

Great walk. Awesome view.

We enjoyed this short trail. The steepheads are interesting and the bridges over the creek are nice. We didn’t see any remains from the Butler Mill site but the trip is worth it just to see the Indian mounds just before the trail.

Relaxing trail great for running.

Nice easy hike. Don't let the deers scare you when they jump out. All 3 trails combine for 9 miles and is a nice 3 hour hike.

This trail is a true North Florida gem! Needs a little maintenance but still a great trail. Did the outer loop (4.5 miles) which started with the Sinks Trail and connected to the Gum Swamp Trail to get the maximum distance.

My favorite trail in Tallahassee. The dog loves it too. Usually not busy, great views of the lake.

Nice easy trail with just the right changes in terrain and scenery. The Tupelo Swamp was the highlight of hike.

A hidden gem close to Tallahassee. Very well blazed orange loop. Backpacking the outer loop will give you a moderate 4.5 miles in and 4.5 miles out., if you camp on the site on the center loop. The primitive camp sites are on Lake Talquin and do not have any facilities, but do have a fire ring and a bench. You can easily hike in after lunch and out by lunch the next day. The trail is a moderate or easy/rolling loop with lots of short bridge crossings over streams. Plenty of places to purify water if needed but the hike is short enough that you can carry enough water to get in and out.

Nice trails. Plenty of options as far as routes and difficulty

This is a pretty good trail, but I would not consider it to be moderate difficulty. It’s an easy stroll. We took our dog as well.

We love taking our dog to this park and we hike here often. I would not rate any of the trails as moderate, however.

This trail is very wide and open but some sections have a more narrow walking trail just to the side where you will be more in the woods. Views of the water throughout but you don't get very close to it. We went on a cold but sunny winter day and had a great time. This trail connects to others in the area - Tom Brown park and Lafayette Heritage Trail)

Great trail! Feels like you are way out in the woods even though you are in town.

Trail was quiet and easy to follow, with nice scenery. Was pleasantly surprised! Wasn’t quite sure where to park based on directions from All Trails, so picked up a map at the gate entrance which was incredibly helpful. Parked on the side of the road down past the equestrian field and entered the trail from there. Map was helpful on hike as well.

Very nice Trail - few technical areas. Not much elevation changes. Great views of the lake.

Easy, well-taken care of trail around two lakes lakes. Had a nice slow walk looking at some wildlife and interesting mushrooms. Not too spidery although it is December. There is a beach and picnic area that is a pretty peaceful place to hangout. I'll definitely be back in the warmer months to swim.

Beautiful hike during the fall and winter months
