Great!

Nice quick nature walk. We didn’t see any monkeys but we did spot a snapping turtle hiding under the kayak launch.

really small park... never more than a few feet from a campsite, road, or something else.

NOT dog friendly. Drove for an hour to see & never made it past the gate. Dogs allowed in campground only. Very disappointed!!

Very peaceful. Creek had a nice trickling sound to it. There is a picnic shelter, tables and swings facing the lake. Overall nice family outing area.

Gorgeous crystal clear spring fed river! Enjoyed seeing a manatee, a raccoon, tons of fish and some birds.

The comments about views of the river are true, but we saw lots of monkeys. They were walking on the trail and swinging in the trees. We saw over 36 in the group. It was fabulous!!!

Odd little trail... only saw a glimpse of the “river” twice... the wee ones complained the ENTIRE WAY. Would have stayed to do more of the trails that we drive 2 freaking hours for but realized that it was never going to happen. This family of 4 would have lost a child or two along the way of another trail. Tasted some horse fennel... nothing really exciting.

The loop itself is grass surrounded by thick vegetation to where you can't really see the river -- or anything else. But there are a couple of places where you can see the river, which is beautiful. And the walk out and back from the loop is nice, too.

Very well managed trails with variety including hardwood canopy and pine forest, river views, swamp, and fairly open areas. This recording starts you at Sandhill Trail and includes portions of Springs Connector, Sinkhole, old Field, Swamp, and River Trails.

This is an absolutely gorgeous trail. It offers a mix of swamp and forest, and the recreation area on the north shore of Indian Lake is a peaceful area to take in the views. I'll definitely be back to camp here at some point. However, note that four areas of the trail are currently flooded, with water levels ranging from knee to chest height (I am 6'0", for reference). I was still able to hike the full length of the trail, but I brought quick-drying clothes, trailrunners, and trekking poles. Without that gear, I wouldn't have been able to make it through the flooded sections. Even still, it was difficult to find my way because the trail markers are fairly spread out. Also, bug spray is a must.
