Great trail with lots of little cut offs. Took the dog and he loved it, but would recommend keeping on leash and a sharp eye out for moccasins. Followed to creek back into the woods.

Just long enough and open enough for a casual walk. Plenty of amenities to keep you comfortable.

cemetery and lake

Recommend camping here and then doing trail. May be a little expensive if just coming for the hike. We saw a river otter which was cool.

FYI dogs can’t be at the park. We had to turn around with the pup :(

The boardwalk is nice but find the entrance per person fee very high. Would think twice before paying to do the hike

Paddled upstream from the landing then backdown Juniper Creek. Great going up stream to half way and gliding back.

Great site seeing loop trail. Trail loops around a small lake teeming with wildlife. We found a water moccasin during our hike. Due to the nature of the wildlife, advise staying alert. There is a great covered picnic area and several hanging bench swings for a quick rest.

Since we were going only to hike, the very short walk to the spring amidst swimmers was not worth the $10 park entry.

You can really get away from it all near Ocala. These web of trails in Silver Springs Forest offer hiking and biking, plus plenty of wildlife. I see deer commonly and a boar once so use caution.

Short trail but a nice few along the creek with the bubbling springs along the way. The boardwalk makes for an easy walk

Nice camping sites. The spring water is so clear it was an amazing place.

This is s short trail , mostly you walk on the boardwalk but very beautiful. Few spits where you see the water bubbling from the ground. Very impressive. Nice and easy walk.

Beautiful, but mostly on board walks. Although that might well have been fortuitous as I did encounter my first ever alligator.

Beautiful natural spring. I enjoy very much swimming the entire day in the spring pool. There is also like a 7 miles canoe trail down river that i was not able to do but looks very fun. Good park for a weekend in the woods and some relaxing and refreshing natural spring water activities.

Great place to camp or visit. Thick forest, crystal clear cold springs and a place to swim in them.

I love this canoe trail. It starts in a clear water creek that is only about 6 feet wide and snakes through the woods. It then empties into a large swamp full of aligators and other wildlife and ends in a river.
