Nice place for a walk or some photography. $10 for a day pass is a bit steep, though.

Very easy, short, shaded trail. Ponce Inlet park is dog friendly so pets are definitely allowed.
It does require a $10 fee or an annual pass to park inside, but if you want to bypass it, there is a trail or use the beach.
It's exceptionally beautiful at Ponce Inlet

We parked in the lot between the lighthouse and the boatyard, walking in on S Peninsula Drive and saving the $10 fee to park. The views of the beach and inlet are wonderful, particularly from the jetty. We enjoyed somewhat successfully dodging the waves crashing on the rocks. A very memorable experience!

Grew up hiking in the mountains of Colorado. Now that I have a family including two kids (10 & 11), I decided to pass the bug on to them and teach them about nature and how to read the sun to know where you are at. This was a great beginning trail because you can absolutely not get lost. They loved it and are now looking forward to our next hiking adventure.

The boardwalk is usable by wheel chairs, carriages and bikes.
The beaches have little shelter from the sun. Carry sun screen!
It should be easy for beginners and children with adults.
