One of several bike and hike loops. Really fun. Some neat boardwalks. A little bit of mud to slop thru which was really fun.
Great way to spend a day.

This is a really nice trail to walk with young children as the path is flat and smooth and some portions are relatively short walks. We walked about 2 Miles with toddlers. My kids loved the variety of wild life, including a woodpecker and alligator splashing in the water.
But don’t forget bug spray, I didn’t think about that and we really got ate up by the mosquitoes.

Took Cypress Pond Bike trail off Conservation Loop, then Palmetto and Baxley Head to Long Leaf. Some of the trail was grass at the end of Cypress Pond and it had rained recently so we turned around. At the end of Long Leaf we headed down Osprey and back out to park's entrance/exit. It was about 10 miles. This was July so it was HOT. Definitely need water and sun screen. decent ride, though.

Outer loop is a maintained circular access road with several intersecting trails, some through the woods. Outer loop is about 9.5 miles. Fun and easy.

Short and pleasant with a chance to see a gator or two

Well maintained and marked trails. We saw quite a few people on bicycles and next time we will take our bikes as we feel this park is more suited for riding bikes and leisurely walks. We like hiking on more rugged and technical trails.

it's a nice trail through the trees. the dogs enjoyed it 2

Loved this trail. Well marked and lots of choices.

Better than expected
Well maintained good for walking or biking
Numerous interconnected trails
Typical florida scenery with nice swamps areas with boardwalks

We had a beautiful hike. Was great for the dogs 2. It smells so good here.

A short nature walk. Beautiful place! We always see gators! Too bad it has gotten SO crowded though!

Very nice flat trail, well marked, pick the length you want to run and adjust as required along the way with maps posted at every major intersections. 6miles through Osprey, Long land and Baxley Homestead.

great biking trail! connects with another 17 miles or so of other trails. Some boardwalk over swamp, a lot of gravel, and some sand that can be tough to bike through. great for hiking as well. Mostly pine and scrub, but diverse enough to keep your eyes busy. Have seen coyote, deer, turkey, rabbit, and plenty of little critters on these trails.

Short but great for what it is. Saw tons of wildlife

Great hidden gem. We took the short green trail. Saw a lot of caterpillars, lizards and birds. Very peaceful walk. The signs can get confusing so grab a map or use GPS. Can't wait to go back and try a longer trail.

This park has always been well maintained when we visit. The different trails are well marked. The bathrooms are very clean. We had a standoff with a snake on one of the boardwalks, but that's about the only run in we've had with any wildlife out there. There's a bicycle rental shop right up the road from the park entrance with very reasonable prices if you're interested in checking out the packed limestone trail on the perimeter of the park as well.

It's beautiful and nice but I wouldn't really consider it a hiking trail. That's just me personally. It's so short and you can't really go anywhere. But if you want a beautiful spot to take a short walk and relax and picnic, this is it. It's gorgeous!

This park is very well maintained. The trails are very clearly marked. The bathrooms at the beginning are clean and well stocked. You can do a short trail of just over a mile or a serious hike that's over 11 miles. Each trail is a little different so you can return and enjoy is numerous times!!!

We stay here every year. Love the trails. The kiddos always see deer, rabbits, raccoons and occasionally an alligator. Great for family fun!

On the east side of Hwy 77 is the Pine Log, Crooked Creek Trail Head. 4.5 and 10 miles trails. The wife and I did the 10 miles. OMG did it do a number on us. Word to the wise, TAKE LOTS of WATER with you. Nice Sunday in June with temps around 90 degrees. The trail is more suited for mountain bikes, but is a good hike also. Some areas are grown up, but the trail is clearly marked. Through forest, and fire roads. Spotted one deer and lots of hog and other animal signs. Will do again, but on a much cooler day and backpack full of water. A good filtration device is highly recommended as your travel companion. We found ourselves 5 miles out and out of water, when I stumbled onto a path to Crooked Creek. Had to leave the hiking path, but it was only 50 feet away.
