Great trail. Dog friendly

Easy walking trail but not too much to see. Observation platform was only a view of the foliage that surrounds the lake. Lake not in view.

Nice little trail right next to UCF. Dog had a blast. Trail is well maintained and there are some great water views at the turnaround point. Easy to stretch this into 3 miles if you follow the river before making the loop back to the starting point.

Mostly sunny trail, pretty delightful in the morning! Definitely bring lots of water, sunscreen and a hat.

It’s a decent trail but not a lot of views. The trail leading to a water view is quite narrow and overgrown, if I hadn’t had the trail map from the app I wouldn’t have trusted the pathway.

Great hike! Packed earth trail winding through shady forest to a nice view from the observation tower. The tower is a little sketchy on the stairs with moss and wood decay, but still scaleable and the views were worth it! Lots of wildflowers and songbirds along the way.

Nice trail, well marked. Saw a gopher tortoise. Kids loved the river. Definitely worth the walk out under the power lines. Nice breeze in the shade. Could have pitched a hammock and stayed all day.

Trail was very well kept! Good combo of shaded and sun. Weather was amazing and it wasn’t too crowded.

The River Trail is always a pleasure. Today’s extremely low water allowed for more venturing along the beaches and close ups with the sun bathing Wally’s. The wild flowers currently in bloom are an extra bonus.

Lived in the neighborhood for years and never took the opportunity to explore this beautiful little trail that follows the river behind the developments. Definitely not a biking trail as we came across many felled trees across the trail. It was a bit overgrown in some spots too and it was single file most of the way. The river was very low as we have not started rainy season yet, so I’m sure there will be quite a different look to the trail as the river rises. We saw some sweet fishing holes even though the river was low with fish visible in the clear water with sandy bottom. Plan on coming back soon with our poles and often for a quick nature hike rather than just walking our neighborhood streets for exercise. We took an hour to go to the end and back mostly because I stopped to take pictures and appreciate the plants and scenery.

nice trail for walking, not for biking too tight, runs along a beautiful creek you can walk through at some parts, highly recommend!

We enjoyed it. Nice and dry today. Pretty hike. Lots of shade. Good for dogs.

Clear trail to outpost but there’s a further loop thats very much overgrown and hard to follow out into the marshland

Great trail and paths are not sandy with a good mix of different terrains

Easy trail with great views. Lots of pups on leashes. Easy parking.

This river does not get nearly enough credit, and is still a bit of a secret spot. This stretch gets VERY SHALLOW during the dry season. Check to be sure it is passable before attempting a down-river paddle on this stretch in the dry season.

Very difficult for mountain biking going in I had to get off several times. Almost got back without jumping off. Very short out and back, mostly walked.

Paved and wide. About half covered. Random places to sit. Water fountain (posted bathroom that I didn’t see).

Pretty awesome, loved the river! Make sure you bring water cuz there’s not a ton of shade!

Outback loop is pretty technical for beginners with lots of large roots and steep inclines/declines. But lots of fun and pretty scenery, definitely will ride again.
