New Smyrna Beach, Florida Map

This place was awesome! So many trails and things to see and explore! Very secluded and well groomed... tons to see and explore! there are designated horse trails, hiking trails, biking trails and a kayak launch! There is also a disc golf course along part of the trails... lots going on! And defiantly all types of people out being active:) very friendly vibe!

We hiked for an hour with four kids and were left with feeling like we had barely made a dent in what this magical place has to offer! We can’t wait to go back! Best trails I’ve seen in the Daytona area so far:)

Pretty overlook! Nice trails! Had fun!

This trail is poorly mapped. I’m an avid hiker and was with an avid hiker and we could not find our way back to the parking lot we started. We ended up walking 5 miles to a different parking lot and calling Uber because we had no clue how to get to ours. My cell had just enough reception to get Uber there. Luckily, I knew the address of a house close to where we parked and we had Uber take us to that house. After an $18 Uber ride and in 90 degree weather without water left I’d skip this one

This is the best trail I’ve hiked in Florida so far. I’ve hiked this trail 4 different times and came across something new and exciting each time. There’s a lot to see here. Not your average boring Florida trail. There’s a lot of points of interest to discover. I came across beautiful flora, wild deer, hills, lakes, open plains, overlook of a river, jungle-like trails, bridges, bridge bells, orange trees, everglades, power poles, and great kayak spots. It’s also a very long and dynamic set of trails. You will spend hours in here. People aren’t lying when they said that this place was a giant maze. It is. You could easily get lost in here as the trail marks are confusing. To me, however, getting lost is part of the fun. Why do you hike anyway? Isn’t it for adventure? If you’re looking for that easy one-way, boring, tourist-friendly trail, you won’t find it here.

Went today. The trail system has definite possibilities. Unfortunately the trails are very badly marked. With 3 to 5 different entry points it is easy to get turned around and end up 5 miles away from where you started with no idea of how to return to the correct parking area. Maps showing where you are would be a definite improvement.

Beautiful hike to the river at Windy Castle trail. Parking lot 3. Then hike around to the north and get a great photo op of both river and beach view together.

Love this loop. I race cross so I gotta a put mucho hours on the bike. Road can get lame sometimes. This place is perfect for a long easy spin through the woods. 10 mile loop so 3 laps is 3 hours of mellow single track bliss. Maybe I'm hyping it a bit, but it's still a great trail. Haha.

Very easy, primarily boardwalk trail. Goes up a few feet and gives you a beautiful view of Canaveral National Seashore. It is extremely short, but if you hop off the boardwalk and take the little shell ridden trail on the lagoon side, you end up at an opening that people either fish at or just sit and watch birds, fish and little crabs.

Love the variety that this trail offers.

Some of the trails were well maintained and others, not so much. The trials are all intermingled where you'll have hiking, mountain biking and horse trails all in one. Not very well thought out trails for a all in one.

The Turtle Mound Trail is an easy hike up and around a midden. It is all boardwalk and modestly high and short. The two observation decks overlooks on the ocean the East side and the West overlooks the mosquito lagoon. Bring sun screen only about half has canopy.

Perfect little loop with a well manicured large walking trail. Just did this one this morning. Well maintains and appears to be hardly used. Lots of Fly Orchid and area natives.

Lots of loose Dogs and Dog poop on trail. I wont be back here. Dog people have ruined this loop.

Fun trail. A bit sandy from horses. Will get winded if on a bike! Not much to look at, or maybe I wasn't paying too much attention. Overall ok.
