The beginning of this trail was nice. It would through some trees, then to some flat unshaded area. Then, you hit the brush; it gets progressively more overgrown and very slow to move through. We planned a day hike but ended up quitting when we realized would only make it to the beach in time to turn around.

The first bit was enjoyable and it was cool to see an unfamiliar landscape. It might be a more worth-it hike if backpacking to camp on the beach or if we had started earlier. If you do this hike, plan plenty of extra time. We usually move at 3mph but found ourselves only 2.5 miles in after an hour and a half of hiking.
