This trail is simple as can be. The scenery is Beautiful. Lots of birds. I walked in here but if u have a car you have to find somewhere to park.

We biked out and back at Shark Valley and it was a wonderful day we will never forget. You can also walk, run, or take the tram if you like. It was the largest concentration of alligators, crocodiles, and birds we had seen in one place. I recommend walking or biking as the tram seems to scare most of the wildlife away. Plan to make a whole day of it as it's far away from most anything. This is suitable for all ages and abilities and there are many ways to enjoy it. Bring your camera and bugspray!

Super cool experience that is a must for visitors to the Everglades. Nice easy ride with lots of gators, gator babies, birds, and a turtle or two. Give yourself plenty of time because there will be LOTS of photo opportunities.

Easy trail with lots of alligators and snakes when riding my bike next to the canal and few on the other side. Views from Shark valley observation tower are great.

Pretty cool area. We went in mid September with temps in the 90’s which kept a lot of the wildlife underwater and out of sight unfortunately. After we did the loop we caught one of the many airboat tours in the area for a different perspective.

The trails were challenging and fun! Even the green novice ones had some obstacles, like tree roots, bridges, rocks and twists and turns that I made it an adventure. I don’t think most of the are easy enough for young kids. Too bad the water is contaminated because the water looks inviting.. so my review is based on the trails (well marked and kept$ and facilities (bathrooms)

We LOVED biking this trail! Probably even better than riding in an airboat ride through the Everglades! We saw over 50 alligators! Many turtles and beautiful birds or many species. It was flat and easy. I liked biking the whole path! Though you don’t see as many alligators after passing the observation, we were still pretty close to several. I would recommend biking the trail vs the tram. whenever we passed the tram, it was moving pretty fast! Not sure you would have seen the many baby alligators that we saw! I look forward to returning to this beautiful trail!

It’s nice and pretty it’s like your actually in the wilderness I mean there is a trail still but it’s so nice

Counted 78 alligators in the 15 miles. Totally worth it, weather was gorgeous.

We really enjoyed the experience. Parking/entrance fee is fair enough. There is a pretty beach all the way down the parking lot, but bring mosquito spray If you are going into the forest!!

I love Oleta! My husband and I have rented cabins there a few times and took the weekend to enjoy the beach, kayaking, and trails. The only downside is that the parking lot is MASSIVE and directly in the center of the park. The trail loop goes around the perimeter close to the water, so it’s hard to really feel totally immersed most of the time. Overall, nice park and trails!

Biked this trail. Sunrise and sunset. 32 alligators next to trail. Beautiful!!!!!

great park. It has a variety of biking and hiking trails, not just this one. Also canoeing and kayaking. excellent spot to stop before a flight out.

this is a bit mis-advertised, as there are a series of trails that wind throughout the park. i advise getting a map, and familiarizing yourself with the various trails and off-shoots before heading out. The area is a great place to pretend you aren't in the city for a bit. be prepared to get your feet muddy, as it is lowland marsh as well as some pine scrub. fun for trail running and there are lots of mountain bike trails, so stay alert and be courteous. The mountain bikers maintain the trails, so try to stay out of their way.

Rode this on my road bike on a cool cloudy November day. Lots of birds and gators. The loop is nicely paved and wide for easy passing. restrooms at the observation tower halfway are a big plus. Take water and sunblock.
