Great trail. However, right now the last 1/8 mike or so is under water.

The Trails End Sign was no t the end of the trail on this map.

Beautiful scenery. I was able to see some interesting insects, snakes, and gators. The main trail is very straightforward and marked pretty well. There are benches but they all look unstable or are obscured by greenery. Unfortunately a couple of the boardwalks are closed and those that are open lead to overgrown and difficult (and somewhat dangerous) to navigate trails. I will most likely come back but I would love to see this place get some tlc.

I love this trail, but I would stay away for a bit longer following Irma. I started down the trail to check out how much damage there was from the storm and many trees are hanging over the trail waiting to come down. It looks like some maintenance has started already, but would give it a bit longer to enjoy this trail.

About a mile or so down the main trail, you can’t go any further because of water. You can’t even get near the boardwalk to Lk Jesup. The trail is pretty though. There’s a side trail to the left as you’re returning, that goes along another creek-very pretty. Will give you another mile or so. It comes out at the education center. Warning: the trails are very poorly marked. This isn’t up to Seminole County’s usual trail standards. Nice two hour walk though.

I love walking this little trail. Unfortunately a few of the boardwalks are closed right now due to storms but it is in the works of them being redone. By next year, hopefully this will be back to an amazing trail and boardwalk. Not bad for riding a bike too.

I took my dog hiking here today. Nice loop trail following a creek for half of it. Some boardwalks were closed. Nice afternoon hike.

I went here because Soldier Creek across the street was inaccessible due to construction. This trail is ok for people riding on a mountain bike for the first few times. Other than that, it's not challenging at all and it doesn't provide any obstacles. This is more of a hiking trail. It is very relaxing though.

Be prepared to get wet. The boardwalks are still closed. Lots of signs are missing.

Good shaded hike! A lot of the boardwalks are closed and we weren't able to get out to Lake Jesup and other areas.

I do love this trail. It is shady and the vegetation is lush. It is a shame that some of the bridges and boardwalks have not been repaired.
I have seen butterflies, large owls and alligators. Parts of the trail do flood.

Fun! The trail was blocked by water about 20 minutes in but it was a good little hike.

Not too bad, kids were disappointed that we didn't get to see any gators :(

Nice trail. Can be rather busy during weekends. 1.25 miles from the start until you reach the lake.
