Lakeland, Florida Map

Eastern side was a little overgrown - not too bad, but western side was flooded. ☹️

Lakeland’s main landmark. When a Lakelander says “I’m going to walk the lake” you automatically know which lake they are taking about.

Trail was flooded so I went along the paved areas. In 5 minutes I saw a baby gator, a huge owl and a wild sow with 3 piglets! What everyone says about wildlife in the other reviews is true, but I feel bad giving 5 stars to a flooded trail. Definitely going back on my next business trip to the area, so I hope I have a more complete review to write at that time. Don't hike often in Florida, but this seems a candidate for the elevated boardwalks I've seen on other trails.

on Lake Hollingsworth Loop

I love that I can walk, bike, run, skate or whatever on this trail!

This is a great place to bike, walk, or run, especially with a stroller since it is paved. It’s a 3 mile loop around a beautiful lake. The homes in the area are also beautiful. I’ve seen lots of birds, squirrels, and rabbits along the way. I’ve even spotted a small alligator in the lake! There’s normally plenty of parking at Cleveland Heights and Lake Hollingsworth where they’re currently building a Clubhouse. Not sure how the parking will be once it’s complete.

Worst experience ever. Tree after tree across the trails mosquitoes so bad they covered you in seconds. There was a guy with a prostitute in the parking lot having fun. Just a good park gone bad.

beautiful, and lots and lots of wildlife + plenty of gators.

Packed the sedan w 3 mtn bike’s (son, neighbor’s son and myself) and headed to Carter Rd trails in Lakeland FL. Can’t say I enjoyed the torture but it was a welcomed change.

Unexpectedly hard blue trails, and lots of mud - this could be good or bad, depending on personal taste. Felt like I was 15 again.

Circle B is the place to go if you want to view wildlife! It never disappoints! My favorite place to go!

I finally got to walk this loop the other night. It's about 3 miles all the way around the lake. The entire thing is paved. I just wish it was a little more lit in some spots, as there were a LOT of gators out. We could hear them but couldn't see them.

Fun for a nice walk or run - you’ll startle some wildlife if you’re running though. Went a couple times while there visiting - saw tons of gators, birds, turtles, you name it! The trails are really well maintained and it’s just an awesome area .... and if you find a pair of red wireless headphones ... holler! Lost them during a pretty good rain storm while we were out there. Thanks!

Circle B is my favorite trail so far, and I've hiked all along the east coast. The diversity makes it a great place to see all kinds of wildlife. You will always see at least one gator and tons of different birds. Bald eagles and osprey nest here. Gopher tortoises are seen here, though I've never seen one myself. I have come across boar a few times, and once with babies. The wildlife is limitless. Circle B is absolutely one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen.

As far as walking goes, I wasn't too much of a fan. The trails were overgrown. I had my daughter with me so she was terrified of spiders the whole time. We did see some nice wildlife, but over all this is my least favorite local trail so far.

trail is great!!!! However, it is shared by mountain bikers and hikers. It is distracting and at times dangerous. If you are hoping to see any wildlife forget it. There should be designated days or something for different uses or designated trails.

Excellent mix of pace and good dirt trails, lots of wildlife

amazing wildlife find something everytime!

Great place for a mountain bike! Nice trails! Have to be alert as it’s poorly marked.

We had a great 8mile run through the trails.. they have green, yellow and red trails red being most challenging ... we liked all of the bridges and obstacles and narrow trails ..great workout! Their were a few bikes but were considerate of runners! We are going back tomorrow love it! When you first start out you feel like is this it and it quickly gets fun fast!

Beautiful lake, lots of wildlife if you go early.

The lost bridge is worth the trip in itself. The wildlife is very calm. Saw pigs, raccoons, dark brown rabbits. Lots of birds I don't know the names of. And the oaks are magnificent. Pictures don't do it justice

I walked this with my 7 year old. We had a nice walk. I do feel like most of it was shaded which was nice. Trails would have been difficult to navigate if I didn't have this app.

Gatorland, Bird Paradise- go before the rains hit in June, when the water is scarce and the creatures flock at the waterholes... Easy hike, but the reptilians and feathered friends make up for it!

Awesome mountain bike trail but not really good for foot traffic because it can be dangerous with bikes coming out of nowhere.

Really nice trail! You can see plenty of wildlife.

Amazing to see so much wildlife up so close. Alligators, armadillos, owls, eagles, turtles, blue herons and dozens of other species. Two looped trails each about 2 miles. One is mostly shaded and the other mostly sun. Take your camera!!! And it's free admission. No pets!

Love this place! So much wildlife and I really recommend taking the alligator trail as long as you aren't afraid lol. The paths are well kept and wide and good for stroller use. Also make sure to check out the little museum. It's so much fun for the kids. Also, I dont think dogs are alowed because of all the wildlife.
