Trail is paved or boardwalk, so easy walk. Wooded area with some swamp scenery.

Walking

No biking is allowed here. You can walk this trail only. It's a nice walk, but since I specifically drove here for mountain biking it was disappointing.

HikingFloodedGreat!

Trail was flooded in a few spots near the lake, but was still passable, granted we were wearing waterproof boots. Shade is limited, but not nonexistent like others have said. The lake views are beautiful and it’s well worth the walk out there especially since it’s cooling off.

Road biking

Nice scenic route, peaceful and quiet. But It is listed to have mountain bike trails and it does not.

its a great bike and hike trail for beginners. I live near by so its one of the closest one I got but theirs two sides. one is with dirty and mudy but it takes you in the middle of the tree's. the other side its much longer and its with a sidewalk. more of a straight shot, a very easy walk. I'll recommend and you can also rent out kayaks.

Its wet season. So I wouldn’t go because it seemed some of the trail was flooded

HikingMuddy

Beautiful woodland and easy paved/biardwalk path. lots of birds not seen on many other paths. The only negative was the boardwalk was narrow with high railings in some places; made it difficult to pass other walkers with dogs if you have your dog with you.

Trail is open, not a lot of shade. There’s quite a bit of mud and standing water due to recent storms.

Paddle sports

It’s a slow creek so easy to paddle, there are some areas where the water gets very shallow , and some areas where it can be tricky to maneuver around trees and branch’s in the water. I saw lots of turtles and fish. It’s 50% shade 50% out in the sun. When launching from the park you can either go up or down stream, both are relaxing paddles.

This was a great trail for my husband, 10 year old, 8 year old, and I. My 4 year old was in a bike trailer and it was a little (lot) too bumpy for him.
