Surprised to find this little gem in Florida. Can be technical at times. Loved the rides.

The trail was pretty but the bugs were horrible. We wore bug spray but still came out with welts all over. It was well marked.

Perfect for a long run. Flat and paved.

I bring my baby here to jog every Saturday morning. Always clean and friendly. Very quiet and peaceful at 8 am!

Absolutely beautiful and totally underrated. It’s also right next to Black Point Marina and a delicious restaurant for after your hike.

NO PETS ALLOWED

I love to hike the trail with my dogs seen wildlife quite often it’s a nice hike especially in winter the north loop is the most shaded and has the best scenery

great single track for northwest florida. well maintained by local organization (porc)

Definitely a challenge, really nice trail , almost feels like your not in Florida .

This is a great walkway. It is a board walk way with many look out spots. I saw 3 turtles and a number of butterflies. It is mostly shaded, so it's not too bad in the heat. A very nice place!

This place is worth the $8 to take the guided tour. It’s back story is very interesting and the formations are beautiful.

I have biked this trail for years. it's the best for bikes in West Volusia & it connects now to another part of the spring-to-spring system. great tree cover with hills & curves.

Wonderful place to find gopher tortoise walking about.

This trail has lots of roots and tight curves. It follows the river to the primitive camp ground.

spiders galore!

rasy trail new markings

Quiet break in the middle of town

Beautiful scenery and a peaceful nature walk.

One amazing hike! Gift shop with hiking stick medallions for sale. Boardwalk. Free strollers can be borrowed for the duration of the hike. $14 to enter. Benches throughout to rest. No bathrooms on the hike. Pack lots of water if it is hot out.

Nice walk, wheelchair and stroller accessible. Bathrooms only available at the start of the hike. Don't go during a drought. The water will be very low and dead fish will stink up the pond areas. Otherwise this is a great hike through beautiful Florida foliage.

Nice trail. Very primitive. Grass was very tall but manageable. Very wet and soggy from rainy season and had to cut the hike short due to water on the trail. Still had a great time. LOA Event.

has a little bit of everything. i love this trail

Great for trail running. I didn't expect to find something like this in Pensacola. Many different paths and are all well marked by spray paint.

What a perfect little synopsis of the Everglades - lizards, gators, and a stunning variety of birds and plantlife. The boardwalk is very well thought out and beautifully built. There is also a neighboring trail loop to the west that offers a taste of the hammock ecosystems there.

A great option for your first or only day in the Everglades.

I did a loop. And I started out at the right.Want to be careful when you cross the field, because you have to really look for the orange markers on the trees. Lovely trail. Lots of shade. Lots the spiderwebs like others have said. The river in cypress knees are lovely. Saw two deer. Bring it there are mosquitoes. So several things I’ve only seen in Florida trail books and magazines. A cave by the river, railroad tracks, and raise road you don’t walk under it it’s on the other side of the river. And an abandoned cabin. Now I know where they are!

Short but nice little trail, I brought my puppy and she was able to hike it no problem. Also has a fenced in dog area where she was able to run around without the leash. I’d recommend going early before it gets busy, especially if you’re bringing a dog.
